“I have taken all of my vehicles to Hi Five over the past several years after they were recommended to me. I restore older vehicles but also have newer ones. I’ve had Hi Five work on everything from electrical, air conditioning, fuel system and regular engine work. The owner is as honest as I’ve found - numerous times I have expected major repairs to be needed only to find out from him that only a minor repair is needed. “First of all, I live in McKinney - with hundreds of mechanics between me and Garland - and Murdock & Son is 100% worth it. When I first got my 1999 Ford F-250 about 3 years ago, I took it there upon the previous owner's recommendation. Great experience. Then I got a little lazy, and it got harder to get over that way. Took Big Blue to local mechanics with not so great results. Had a recent issue and had it towed to Murdock & Son. Their office and the owner bent over BACKWARDS to deal with my questions, my hesitations, and helping me figure out next steps - whether they fixed it or I sold it. They went above and beyond over a period of 3 WEEKS, and I just think everyone should know how fantastic their team is. Thanks, y'all. - Rachael”

My Dad has an older model BMW that had some real specific problems that Brian admitted he wasn't too familiar with. “I LOVE my car... and I don't trust anyone to work on it other than me usually... but my tools won't work for this job. I trust these folks!! The guys who work here are incredibly polite not to just me, but every person who came in the door the few times I've been here. The first time I came, I got a quote and advice on how I could do it not only cheaper but they also advised me on other ideas and how to take care of a few other car parts at home like my passenger outside mirror. What made me trust this place is when I was waiting on my first quote, the mechanic made sure to let the lady checking out that the oil change she has is good for 5k miles not the regular 3k. She thanked him and didn't know that about synthetic oil and has been scammed before. Little things like this show integrity. I know I can trust not only my car with this location, but my wallet too. Thank you for not taking advantage of unsuspecting women, that really shows character!!!”

Every shop wanted at least $100 to even look at it. The guy in the shop gave us advice and my husband fixed it himself (we couldn't afford to pay a mechanic and the guy helped as much as he could) also went in another time to get my oil changed and they were done in like 10 minutes with no wait. =) it's hard to find an honest mechanic these days.”
