“I had a very clean room and as I was packing my car, they were stripping and cleaning the other rooms making sure that they were up to par. Staff is very professional and nice. Very close to Capitol Reef. Pets are welcomed as well which is very convenient.
Food and drinks: Small town but as you go throughout Bicknell and throughout nearby towns, there are plenty of options for food.”

“What an incredible find! We are so glad we stayed here on our recent trip across Utah. The lodge owner is so friendly and knowledgeable and goes out of her way to ensure you have a great stay. Location is amazing, quiet, peaceful. Rooms are immaculate and well kept. Front living room for all guests is a warm inviting space to meet other travelers and perhaps put together a puzzle or play games.”

“The Chuck Wagon saved us in a pinch last night— we planned on staying at Fruita Campground, but got snowed out and came here last minute. The owners were extremely accommodating and turned on the heat in our room before we got there + helped us get our car out of the two feet of snow in the morning with shovels and plows. The rooms were spacious and clean, water was warm, and the price was very affordable. 10/10 would recommend!”
“Great place to stop in and stock up on the way to Capitol Reef, especially if you are staying in the campground. They have firewood, ice, batteries, and all other essentials that one might need. Good food selection and a good value overall”

“Awesome place for family gatherings. 3 levels, with lots of private rooms, including some accessible rooms. Huge kitchen and dining tables. Movie theater, ping pong. Great location. Short drive to Capital Reef National Park and Fish Lake Recreation Area. Near groceries and restaurants. Management is the best, happy to help with anything you need. When the town lost power in a bad storm, they brought out a box of flashlights, more than enough for all of us. Will definitely stay again.”

“I met a lady hiking who recommended eating here and to be sure to get some pie. The Blueberry Sour Cream buy was really, really GREAT! The chicken kebab meal was very good. This is a great place to eat!
