“I had a very clean room and as I was packing my car, they were stripping and cleaning the other rooms making sure that they were up to par. Staff is very professional and nice. Very close to Capitol Reef. Pets are welcomed as well which is very convenient.
Food and drinks: Small town but as you go throughout Bicknell and throughout nearby towns, there are plenty of options for food.”

“We stopped here for just one night on the way to our next national park. The room was clean and looked newly remodeled. The beds were comfortable. The bedroom was very small, but it had good pressure and hot water, so that was nice. The only problem was that it had only one small hook to hang a towel. This was not a problem for one night, but if you stayed longer, it could be a problem. I would recommend this place as a nice, clear place to stay.”

“The Chuck Wagon saved us in a pinch last night— we planned on staying at Fruita Campground, but got snowed out and came here last minute. The owners were extremely accommodating and turned on the heat in our room before we got there + helped us get our car out of the two feet of snow in the morning with shovels and plows. The rooms were spacious and clean, water was warm, and the price was very affordable. 10/10 would recommend!”

“What an incredible find! We are so glad we stayed here on our recent trip across Utah. The lodge owner is so friendly and knowledgeable and goes out of her way to ensure you have a great stay. Location is amazing, quiet, peaceful. Rooms are immaculate and well kept. Front living room for all guests is a warm inviting space to meet other travelers and perhaps put together a puzzle or play games.”

“While visiting Capitol Reef on a cross country trip in August, we stopped at the SunGlow twice. The BLT, fries, and pickle pie for lunch lured us to stop again for a SunGlow Pie Sampler on our way back through. As yummy as the food was, it’s the exceptional service that truly sets the SunGlow apart!!! I can’t remember the gentleman’s name who served us, but he was beyond friendly and absolutely wonderful. We really enjoyed our meal there and would definitely stop again. Everybody needs a little pickle pie in their life!”
