My hubby and I had visited here back in the 90s and loved it, but weren't able to shop, so I had always wanted to come back since they carry such wonderful Native art. We were able to vist again this past early April, and I was so thrilled to chat with the owner and buy a beautiful Derrick Gordon cuff (which I wear constantly) and Kary Begay cross pendant. I appreciated how much time the owner (I think his name was Steve) spent with me as I shopped. Some people have mentioned in the reviews that the jewelry is expensive, but to buy beautiful handmade Native American art shouldn't be cheap. They put their heart, soul, and amazing talent into their work, and it shows. We also ate at the cafe where I had a tasty Navajo taco; all the food looked really good. Petting the sweet dogs was just icing on the cake. I love the town of Bluff and the whole area, so I hope I can make it back there soon!

UPDATE: UPDATE: After seeing the owner’s response, we wish to change our rating to “5-stars” because we do not think for a moment that you have more work to do, since you already have. Thank you for all you have done for bringing the rich heritage of Southwest Native American art together is this amazing renaissance of Navajo art forms.
The store is located off U.S. Highway 191, as you enter Bluff from the north. This store specializes in museum-quality, handcrafted Native American and Southwest art items. The store is stocked with a wide variety of Navajo art, including rugs, jewelry, baskets, pottery, etc. and is an excellent place to learn something about the rich heritage of Native American art and how it has played a significant role in the revival of Navajo basketry. So, if you are looking for genuine and uniquely handcrafted Native American art, then this place is what you are looking for. The staff members were warm and welcoming and were willing to answer any questions we had – they made us feel at home. And do not forget to look above before entering for a stunning view of Twin Rocks – most of all, say hello to those beautiful puppies that guard this location.

They do have some beautiful jewelry. However, it would have been nice if we had been greeted when we walked in. And, because I have a friend who is a Navajo silversmith, I know that the prices here are extremely high. Better to purchase from the artist or at least closer to them.

What a cool place! We just happened to see the huge twin rocks behind the store as we were passing by and that drew us in but we decided to check out the store too and we loved it. So many beautiful pieces of art. They also have two adorable dogs that are there each day and they're so sweet. The owners are super nice and very friendly and we enjoyed our stop and our visit with them.

Wonderful, serendipitous happening! High quality, signed Native pieces. Steve readily shares his knowledge and even helped route us to Bears Ears. Couldn't resist unique quality earring designs. Priscilla was equally helpful.

Steve and his team are terrific. We always stop here and find a treasure or two. There was a non-sale item that we adored, and Steve later left us a kind message that he had a duplicate and was willing to part with it. Steve is very knowledgeable about Navajo art and runs a professional and interesting post. Always look forward to returning.

I loved this Trading Post/art gallery because it is filled with carefully chosen, unique and highest quality Native American arts. True, none of this comes inexpensively… but, too many trading posts are filled with cheaply made items - often made outside the USA. If you’re looking for the top authentic artists from the American Indian groups this is the right place. I hope to return again to take in all the beauty.

This is an upscale jewelry store, not a trading post. Great scenery but not worth the drive unless you're in the market for VERY expensive stuff.
