“2nd time in SLC, second time in the shop. This is a must for any visit to Salt Lake City. They kept my head warm in the winter and they fill me out with good wear during the summer.”
“There were so many cute items! Shane was extremely knowledgeable about every single one and answered all the questions we had. He was so nice and helpful. I will 100% be coming back anytime I'm in Salt Lake City or anywhere in Utah”
“Wonderful shop. I’m a drip coffee guy and now that they have it, my mornings are complete. The other beverages are fantastic as well, when you’re looking for a bit more. Best coffee/beverage/fun shop along the 9line. The owners are some of the nicest I’ve met in town.”

“Great gift shop with great selection. I was in town for a conference and it was conveniently located with some cute word-play items! The staff was friendly and helpful, I would return if in town again.”
“We thought the store closed at 9pm, but closing time was really 8pm. We were walking up to the door just as they were turning the “open” light off. I opened the door and asked what time they closed and I was told 8pm. He insisted that we come in, so we did. I was very grateful because I quickly found a SLC sweatshirt I really liked that had a Friends theme.”
“Make sure to call the shop if you are having a difficult time finding it! It's just off of Main Street and 650 N- there is a long driveway that leads up to the shop front. This shop is 150% worth the drive, y'all. I used to frequent this shop when they were across from Trolley, and since they moved up to Centerville I have explored the metaphysical shops in SLC and nothing compares to Purring Buddha. PLUS the shop owners are just lovely people. Enjoy!”
“A little bit pricy, but for more ethically-based, zero waste products, definitely on par to cheap. Really fun atmosphere, kind workers. They have a donation bin for containers so you can take/leave if you forget your own/have extras.”
“We visited SLC for the Outdoor Retailer show. By far the best selection of the few I visited for gifts.Example: The owner discussed hand-curates the rock/mineral bin (for the gift bags). Blue tiger eye, etc.”
“The staff here are amazing. Olivia was absolutely amazing. I'm not a huge shopper and she definitely helped me pick out the right gift for my wife. Great store for birthday or anniversary gifts guys. Chris”

“Such a beautiful gift shop! I love how the majority of their products are made by local artisans and entrepreneurs. The store values are evident, too. Most of the brands they sell are women/BIPOC/LGBTQ+ owned, and/or environmentally conscious. It’s a must-see whether you’re visiting SLC or you live there.”

“Great local boutique. Nice sales people and quality products. They have Women's and Children's clothes and shoes and also cooking and kitchenware. This is not a consignment shop fyi”
“Hi! I just wanted to share with you something really nice I witnessed yesterday. While I was in there shopping, a student from out of town came in visibly upset, stressed, lost and late for their appt. The employee working handled the situation with such grace and kindness! They helped calm the lost traveler down, looked up directions, and let them know no one was there to judge them; and let them know they were in a safe place. It was a nice moment to witness, thank you! Great job!!”
“I've been to Edinburgh Castle Scottish Imports on multiple occasions. They sell quality Scottish imports. From snacks to clothes and other Scottish items. The tartans are high quality and they have a wide variety of options. They also have some Irish and Welsh tartans. And if you need something specific that they might not have, they can help get it for you.”

“So surprised at the one negative comment. I have been in this store so many times and the employees are so nice and helpful. Great selection of clothing and gifts. Definitely an open minded staff with no judgment of religious beliefs or any other. I think if you find a problem in this store you should probably “check yourself”. My guess is there lies the problem”
