Giant Steps Ski Lodge and Lifts is a popular and enjoyable ski destination with a lot to offer for visitors of all ages. During special events like New Year's Eve, the mountain remains manageable, with less crowding at the Giant Steps area and easy parking, making it a fun night with a fireworks show around 6 pm. The resort stays open later into the season, allowing visitors from far away, such as Canada, to enjoy extended spring skiing with great conditions. The staff is friendly and helpful, from ticket counters and rentals to ski lessons, with many praising the instructor quality and organization. Groomers do a good job maintaining the slopes, especially considering the tricky spring snow, and the corduroy is often perfect each morning. Snow conditions are consistently good, with fresh powder and beautiful winter scenery, making for fantastic ski weeks. Visitors also appreciate the convenient automated ski pass system, saving time at the ticket office. Families and first-timers enjoy the variety of activities, including tubing and snowboarding, with safety patrols always available to assist in case of injuries. Overall, Giant Steps offers a well-organized, friendly, and memorable experience for skiers, snowboarders, and families alike.
