Last week was really awesome. We skied Monday through Friday and had fresh snow when we started, then we received another 8 " of powder on Thursday while we were skiing. On Friday it was like a winter wonderland. All the trees were flocked and the snow looked so beautiful. The temperatures were in the '20s all week and the wind was pretty light. Just another fantastic ski week at my favorite family ski resort. The conditions are consistently grade every year. I bought my lift tickets a couple of months ahead and the automated ski pass system makes it easy to load your tickets to your ID card. I didn't have to waste any time at the ticket office while I was there. Just makes for more skiing.

From the counter to buy tickets and lessons, to the rentals, to the lessons instructor (Lauren is a rockstar!), the cafe, the store, and let's not forget Ski patrol were ALL fabulous! Our experience was memorable. I have not one negative thing to say. Only positive feelings. Everyone was organized, warm, helpful, and patient.

Had a blast on a weekend! Prices are reasonable. There was tons of fresh snow and the powder was amazing! I paid for my pass online and it was easy and quick to retrieve at the window. They gave me a plastic pass that I can reuse in the future by just reloading it online so I won't need to go to the lift desk again for my future trips. I needed to rent shoes only since I have my skis but it wasn't possible online, so I had to do that at the rental window directly. The rental process was pretty smooth, they put people up on a platform and bring you the shoes right there to put on as you stand. Very quick and efficient process! The shoes were in good shape and comfortable. The skiing area is a bit small. The only downside of this resort is that you spend more time waiting and on the lift than skiing. For example, my ski tracking app measured my ski time for 35min with a lift time of 50min and 40min wait time. Basically it took me about 5min to come down the slop before having to go back up.

Enjoyed the snow, but website wasn't functioning and prices jumped 30% overnight (purchase as early as possible). I appreciate that the staff admitted the website was quirky and unreliable. Great for families with little ones, but teenagers pay full price. The last time I took it in the shorts like that there was a pair of mouse ears standing behind me.

Small resort with big resort prices. Poor attitude by staff makes this experience very poor.We paid $114 for lift Tickets for a resort that should charge half that considering the value of the experience.Ski rental help was poor and understaffed while the Ski Equipment Repair guy sat in his booth on the phone oblivious to customer needs. The restaurant food was poor and we waited forever to receive our food. The only redeeming grace was the snow was good. Buyer Beware.

I've been coming to Brian Head since 2011 and I have loved every trip. The powder is amazing and the lifties are always very nice. Brian Head is under new ownership ans it remains to be seen if they make this place better or if being corporate it turns into another crappy overpriced ski hill. I'm praying that the corporation does right by us locals, builds out the community and helps support local businesses. Still family friendly and cost for lift tickets are still good.

Despite being one of the lesser known resorts, Brian Head is a pretty great spot to ski & snowboard without breaking the bank. Nice staff, good runs, & decent facilities provide for a solid experience.

Brian Head is a nice family resort in Southern Utah. It's about 2.5 hours past Vegas, so not as far as SLC. Compared to Mammoth, the drive is about an hour or so further but it's almost completely freeway, vs. highway 395.On a holiday week, the lines were very short. The longest we waited was no more than 10 minutes. The service was fine and staff was friendly. Compared to the large resorts, it's considerably less expensive and less crowded. But the mountain is fairly small. With a high base of ~9,500 ft and a peak of 11,000 ft, the elevation drop is modest. It's about a mile from top to bottom. There isn't much variety. So it's probably not ideal for advanced skiers. The resort is geared towards beginner to intermediate and families looking for a nice experience without breaking the bank.Overall I enjoyed Brian Head for a relaxing time although I did wish there was more challenging terrain to conquer.

We are season regulars and we enjoy it each every visit. Family oriented and just amazing resort - this is our 10 year coming during winter. Our kids learned to snow board and eventually added a handful of private lessons. Worth every shiny penny for the lessons. They are now 18 & 14. They look forward to coming. Thanks to this resort - we have many many memories.
