“Loved this mountain, the trails, and the views. Also love their values in making skiing available to all & being open all day. So neat! If we lived nearby, would definitely be hitting some after work laps.”

“Excellent food and service. They know quality here. It is worth the price. Some places this close to the mountain are just pricey but not good. This restaurant is comfortable and has amazing food and service. We sat near the fireplace in these beautiful embroidered wrap around chairs that were extremely comfortable after a long day skiing. We had schnitzel and fondue. The fondue is unlike any that we have had before. It was really good, but had more wine maybe and good cheeses. The size of the fondue is large.”

“We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding at the Washington School House Hotel in Park City, Utah, and it was nothing short of perfect. The venue itself is stunning—an elegantly restored historic schoolhouse that blends classic charm with modern luxury. The intimate setting was ideal for our celebration, offering a cozy yet upscale atmosphere that made our day feel truly special.
A huge highlight was Ryan Frye, who somehow manages to wear every hat—chef, hotel manager, coordinator, security—and does it all flawlessly. His food was incredible, creative, and tailored perfectly to our event, and his leadership ensured everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. The rest of the staff was just as exceptional: warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience unforgettable.
The location right off Main Street couldn’t be better. Our guests loved being able to step right out into the heart of Main Street while still enjoying the private, tucked-away feel of the hotel. The design and décor inside are breathtaking, from the beautifully appointed rooms to the chic common areas and the outdoor pool terrace with mountain views.
We truly can’t recommend the Washington School House enough. Whether you’re planning a wedding, a special celebration, or just looking for a luxurious getaway, this hotel offers an unmatched combination of venue, setting, and service. Our expectations were exceeded in every way.”
“There is so much about this property that screams 5-star but it’s not quite living up to its potential, mostly due to the service and attention to little details. Our check-in was a bit difficult and we had to report atrocious WiFi twice before it was fixed. The handle also fell off of our refrigerator door. People working the property weren’t rude at all, just seemingly aloof. The setting is gorgeous and we loved being next to the cross country skiing option. We also found this to be the most reasonable option for a nice stay in park city without totally destroying the pocketbook. Despite my earlier comments, we would return. We just hoped the service would be a little better.”
“As amazing as Park City Canyons is in the winter with their pristine powder and incredible activities for all family members, visiting in the Spring and Summer to enjoy their trails is also STELLAR. The hotels offer ski in, ski out but also hiking and biking trails with unparalleled views. We cannot wait to return in a few months for movies under the stars and to enjoy High West beverages by the fire again!”
“I'm torn on this one. The ambience and setting is immaculate-you can't beat the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The service in the bar was great-friendly and attentive. The food, however, was just average. My dining partner and I ordered a salad and the steak & frites to share and we were underwhelmed. The "frites" were just regular french fries (we expected much skinnier, flavorful fries) and the steak was very overdone. It wasn't bad enough to send it back, but it didn't wow us. The pool and jacuzzi down below, however, were a nice after-drink treat. Everything was clean and well maintained and not crowded at all.”

“Very nice outdoor mall. Prices are crazy high, but everything is designer.
Walkability: Outdoor mall easy to get around.
Food and drinks: Food is great but pricey.”
“Dani was wonderful! I had a few questions after a very nice soak. She was very friendly and helpful. I was sorry to see someone give her a hard time when she very politely asked them to wait outside for their scheduled time, multiple times. Dani was still extremely professional and polite. This was a wonderful experience all around. I absolutely recommend it to anyone interested!! Just fallow the rules please. ?”
“Great location right in Main Street and next to the lift. Loved that everything is controlled by codes so you don’t have to lug around keys. We stayed in #208 which is a two-story unit with hot tub and it was perfect for our weekend getaway. The private reserved garage spot was great to have. There were electric chargers which we didn’t need but I thought was fantastic. We needed to call guest services for a couple of small matters but they were responsive and friendly.
Safety: Garage, elevator, and front door all have different access codes
Walkability: Shops and restaurants are right outside your door”
“This is a wonderful hotel in every way. Good rooms, wonderful service, ideal ski-in ski-out location. However, there are a number of annoying little things, especially unpleasant, because this hotel is very expensive. So:
1. There is a coffee machine in the rooms, but there are no wine glasses or normal plates. 2.Standardly, there is no mini refrigerator in the rooms.
3. The choice of dishes at breakfast corresponds to a 2* hotel, but not to a Rustler class hotel. There are no cheeses, sausages or hams, smoked fish, etc.
4. There may be an extra sofa bed in the room, but there is no desk.
5. Exceptionally poor, limited, and insufficient selection of light snacks for après ski
6. The hotel does not have a sign showing which lifts are open and which are closed.”
“The location is great and the rooms are spotless and well maintained, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The range of amenities, both in room and on site, adds a real touch of convenience and luxury. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make your visit memorable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a perfect balance of comfort, service, and location.”
“This was our first time skiing as a family, and True North at Pendry in Park City made the experience so easy and enjoyable. We were traveling with a big group, but the staff handled everything smoothly and made us feel completely taken care of.
They were incredibly kind and attentive — helping size all of our gear, answering questions, and even assisting my daughter with putting on her ski boots, which meant a lot as beginners. The whole process was quick, organized, and stress free!!
They also went above and beyond by helping us find our lift tickets on our Epic Pass so we could get on the mountain without any issues. Overall, such a positive experience and amazing service. We’re very grateful and would definitely recommend True North, especially for families and first-time skiers.”
“Staff are helpful and accommodating to your needs . The hotel rooms are super clean and spacious. If you have handicap needs they have rooms that work! We love staying in this area while passing through Utah.”
“This place was amazing! We didn't stay here, but utilized it for our wedding photos and the spa for services prior to and it was perfect! We scheduled a hair appointment and my mom got her nails done prior to the wedding on the sleigh rides that happen. While my hair appointment was very over priced, it is the stein and we expected it. It was definitely something I could have done on my own... but it was nice to be pampered! The spa ladies were so kind and kept my dress and flowers in their office and checked on us throughout our stay. The decorations in the lobby for Christmas were AMAZING. And we had a blast utilizing the Stein! The pictures turned out phenomenal on the back patio with the slopes in the background, and the fact the sleigh rides pull right up to the door made this incredible.”

“I have had a timeshare since the seventies
I love experiencing warm weather, fall colors, and snow every year, as I don't experience all of that at home in Southern California.
The pool and spa are amazing. The view is so beautiful from my balcony.
I truly love this vacation spot and look forward to it every year.
Both photos are from my two weeks this year.
Nearby activities: Octoberfest has a lot to offer for the whole family.
Walkability: Easy trail to the observation point where the first photo was taken.”

“Room was good. There was no vent in the front living space. And we found out you cannot have the door open with the HVAC running which I get. But we wanted some fresh air circulating since it got very hot and musty in that front river with no air flow. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay!”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Park City. The ski-in, ski-out location was amazing, and there were great food options in Canyons Village. Our room was very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed using the hot tubs and sauna each day.”
“As first-timers, this was an extremely confusing resort. If we were to go again we would probably be okay, but the first time was frustrating. I think we spent an hour trying to get from the parking lot to where we were meant to be. We didn’t know that the lot we parked in wasn’t serviced by a shuttle. Not a lot of info for beginners (which is obviously not their intended market), signage is also not great.”

“I’ve been coming up to Snowbird every year for 45 years staying at the Iron Blosam. We decided to stay at the Inn this year. We loved it. It’s much more low key and quiet. The staff are amazing and accommodating. Shout outs to Hayden, Morgan, and Barbara. We will be staying there again!”

“We have gone to this worldmark for years and absolutely love it. It is in the foothills of Midway, and right across from the crater swim (which we've done and recommend the last few times we visited Midway). It's only a few minutes to downtown Heber, and 15 to 45 minutes from some amazing outdoor adventures like Timpanogos Cave, Cascade springs, the Alpine coaster, and many other things. It is very clean, and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend it!”

“The Snowpine lodge is just a special place. Location at Alta is perfect ski in and ski out. The entire staff makes you feel welcome. The food, drinks and rooms are unbelievable. Do yourself a favor and plan a stay!”
“To our family, the location is the most important consideration. The ability to ski in and ski out is prime, closely followed by the ambience of a lovely place where the owners understand this is not just a place to sleep. Integrating the atmosphere of the home enhances the beautiful outdoors of this fabulous and historic area. Thank you for the prompt response to our service and maintenance calls. When the place is updated, I’m sure you’ll receive even more 5-star reviews.”
“We just got back from the most incredible stay at the Grand Summit Hotel in Park City, Utah, for a birthday celebration, and WOW—it was amazing!
The experience started on such a great note. We arrived early, and the valet team was super friendly, immediately offering to take care of our bags just in case the room wasn’t ready. When we got to the front desk, we were greeted by a wonderful lady who made check-in so smooth and quick. She didn’t make us wait at all—we were in our room in no time. Talk about starting a trip off right!
Day two was pure magic. The hotel surprised us with a courtesy ride to Park City’s Main Street, which was so thoughtful and convenient. We were hoping for snow, and let me tell you—our wish came true in the most magical way! As we strolled down the beautifully lit street, little snowflakes started to fall, and before we knew it, the whole area was blanketed in snow. It was like stepping into a Christmas postcard—absolutely breathtaking with all the twinkling lights. It’s a moment we’ll never forget!”
“This should be a five out of five on everything. And while the service in the hotel was incredible, the guys on the door at the funicular entrance were the rudest, coldest, most unhelpful, least brand-representing people you could ever have work for this resort. They either need firing or re-training!”
“This place is great!Rooms and facilities are first class.Lots of space.Staff is friendly and helpful. It was 3 min walk to the ski rental which was right next to the lift. Shop was quick and easy. They should make it a little easier to get on the Wi-Fi but overall I have no complaints.”

“We used the Doubletree as our preferred hotel for guests coming to my son’s wedding. To say that the staff over delivered would be an understatement. Led by Mike at the front desk, the staff was always attentive, proactive and pleasant. Everybody raved about them!
Additionally, Ian helped put together a brunch for the morning after the wedding. Again, everything was perfect! Super friendly staff with a can do attitude.
Highly recommend!”
“Very friendly and professional crew at the rental shop. Claryssa, Jonah, and Luke fitted me out perfectly. There were at least 6 others that asked if I was being helped.Great corporate culture hereAttachments to your own boots and skis are funnyYou helped me cut the cord and have a great trip out from BostonThank youCap’n Dave”
