Amazing experience!!Booked the tour just 2 days before and it was the best decision I could’ve made.I haven’t had any recent experiences of people so passionate and excited about what they do like Logan. He showed us lots of different stars, constellations, nebulous, the moon and he was always ready to share his knowledge and answer our questions no matter how stupid they were.Uranus will never be the same after you experience this tour

The night we chose ended up being cloudy but not disappointing. The company proactively refunded a good portion of our tickets. They explain their metrics for this very thoroughly on their website. We will definitely be coming back and officially added it to our "fantastic things to do" list.I cannot say enough good things about our guide, Seth. He was one of the best guides I've ever encountered. He was patient and hopeful about the skies and showed us everything he could find. The slide show presentation was a perfect blend of humor and facts. Seth was an excellent speaker and did a great job of answering our many questions. This is a well thought out and we'll run small business that we should all support - especially when it's so awe-inspiring. I can't wait to see the skies on a clear night!

Dark Ranger Telescope Tours was great! They were passionate about the sky and sharing the galaxy with us. It was very informative and got to see through a couple very powerful telescopes. Highly recommend!

Best star gazing experience ever. I went with a couple of friends and it was so much fun. We toured with Sawyer, Liam and Thomas and they were the absolute best. They were polite, smart and very passionate about their field. They had a fun and informative presentation before we started viewing through the telescope. Ask them to show you pictures of the planets, galaxies and a bunch of other stuff in their phone, it really puts things in perspective while looking through the telescope. Make sure to bundle up, it can get cold (we went in November) Take some snacks, they provide warm beverages.

I was so excited for this experience, as I am from a large metro area with significant light pollution. Despite my high expectations, I was not disappointed. The property is easy to find and you get clear instructions. There is a portapotty onsite and just being onsite is special - you can see the milky way with the naked eye.The experience is well thought out. There is good variety - telescope time, presentation, drinks, more telescope time- to keep people engaged. The telescopes were set up in advance and there were enough to keep our group of 8 moving. The host, Seth, was able to mix up well known sites (Pleiades, Jupiter, Saturn) with lesser known stars/nebulas/etc.Speaking of Seth, he was a gem. He was funny but also well informed and inclusive. He was able to answer people's impromptu questions on everything from science to constellations. I thoroughly enjoyed his well prepared, understandable, and fast-moving talk/PowerPoint on the Fermi paradox. He was very relaxed, and made it okay for people to leave early/hang out longer and see more. The business will also let you book, for just a dollar, a "do-over" night in case of clouds, which I think is a nice touch.FWIW, I brought a headlamp, set to red, and that was very helpful in navigating to and from my car. Also, it should go without saying, but dress warmly in the fall/winter so you can have the best possible experience. I should have added one more bottom layer, since you are not moving for a lot of the time.

An absolute amazing experience- from start to finish. We booked for Saturday, but on Friday we got an email & text from Kevin asking if we could come Friday since Saturday was going to be cloudy. We told them we would be about 2 hours later after the program started, and the "Dark Ranger" actually stayed late to explain everything to us and also showed us what we missed. They told us we could still come the next day for our original booking, and so we did! It was cloudy but JUST as amazing. Thomas, Liam and Sawyer were our Dark Rangers and all three of them were incredibly smart, super cool, and answered all of our long list of questions. It was so fun and the sky was stunning. I can't wait to be back in the summer!

Incredible experience! From booking our tickets online and reading through the hilarious website to pressing my eye up against their incredible telescopes, my wife and I loved every minute of it. There staff are incredibly knowledgeable (we had Sawyer and Logan) and you can tell they are passionate about their work. We braved the cold October evening and were part of the last few remaining that were treated to a few more celestial objects. Even as the night got colder and you could tell people were longing for warmer places, the staff got even more eager to share the night sky with us. We left feeling special and fortunate to have experienced such a wonderful treat.

Wow! The “rangers” are passionate and knowledgeable! They set up the telescopes to see different planets, stars and galaxies.. This tour is a “must do”, so if you’re planning a visit to Bryce then book your tickets. Also read the guide on visiting, meaning dress warm! It was a mild night on our visit but because you’re not moving around a lot it feels colder. I’d add to bring a blanket on top of dressing warm. This tour was fantastic a highlight!

I'm a pretty knowledgeable, but amateur astronomy guy. I was really happy with this experience. Two guys were there to run the telescopes, and they were happy to take requests of anything you wanted them to show you, and to answer any questions you have. I was there on a moonless night and could definitely see the Milky Way and at least a few falling stars every hour. Really do recommend this.

We loved our time with Dark Ranger! My husband and I know very little about astronomy and we learned a lot. Despite it being a little cloudy, we saw a lot and were really excited to see clear images of Jupiter and Saturn through one of the telescopes! The guides were super knowledgeable and really excited to show us things. The additional blankets and hot drinks were a nice touch. Would recommend this activity to anyone!

This experience is worth every single dollar you will spend. Thomas educated us about astronomy and cool facts about our galaxy. This tour is very well thought through. You get a presentation with some facts and explanation, hot drinks and blankets to keep you warm, chairs to be comfortable. And your guide will set up multiple telescopes depending on the size of the group to show you different stars, nebulas, planets, galaxies, our moon!! Absolutely breathtaking experience! Thomas is very knowledgeable and despite being so young he had all the answers to any question that would arise during the tour!! Overall a must thing to do. Highly recommend!! Thank you!

We were excited to see the stars. We got to look at Jupiter, Saturn and the moon. The clarity was awesome. We also looked at other things like constellations, stars in the Big Dipper and various other stars. The presentation was generally over my head and difficult to focus since it was so cold outside. I would have rather talked about stars we could see with the naked eye and possibly how stars related to astrology, Overall, this was a great addition to our hiking vacation. If it was warmer, I would have enjoyed taking more time to ask questions and see more. The guys helping were willing to stay as long as we wanted. Dress warm!!

We had a very enjoyable evening at Dark Ranger Telescope Tours. The guys were very knowledgeable friendly, and entertaining. Unfortunately it was almost a full moon when we visited, which greatly Diminished what we could see, but we knew that in advance and this was not their fault. Even so, they pointed their telescopes to other distant constellations, galaxies, and such. Overall a very fun evening! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to others that share an interest in star gazing!

Awesome experience! Even if you aren't into Astronomy it's an amazing experience. Try to go on a night without full moon, but even then they have amazing stuff to show. It begins with a 30-45 min presentation, then they line up the telescopes to see different deep space objects. They supply coffee, Cider, tea. 10/10 experience.
