Bryce UpTop Lodge is a motel located not far from the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park, about a ten-minute drive away. It is a great place to stop for the night before visiting the park. The structure seems recently renovated with very nice upgrades, using a lot of wood and appearing very in tune with the place. Rooms are described as attractive, very clean, well furnished, and comfortable, though some are smaller than usual. They include amenities like a mini fridge, microwave, satellite TV with tons of channels, and air conditioning. Feedback on the beds is mixed, with some finding them comfortable and others finding them awful and hard. The rooms are consistently noted as very clean and quiet, with no noise from the street, allowing guests to sleep well. However, the air conditioning unit can be very noisy. The hotel is described as needing some TLC in areas, with comments on doors having gaps and some furniture being worn. The staff are noted as great, very helpful, and accommodating at check-in. There is a restaurant on site, but it may be closed outside summer months. As the motel is along the road, a car is needed as everything else is very far away. It offers a good quality/price ratio and is a great place to keep warm on cold Utah nights. Many guests would stay again or recommend it.
After a long day of hiking, I found the room has no chairs, and the front office was incapable of finding a chair. So, it was uncomfortable to try to relax watching TV for a while.
