This place is a fun place to have fun with friends and just chill. UNLESS... So there was this one random kid that came to watch us fish but was pretty loud and annoying. (We didn't even know him) But he did have a pretty good cast. I caught a fish but then he grabbed it and took out it's EYES and it still LIVED. He eventually left and we had more fun. There are lots of cool ducks and it's fun to chase after them. This place is fun, but when you are here, don't let 10 year old kids that can wreck your fun for you hang out when you fish. But other than that it's pretty fun, just lots of blue gills tho.
I still feel bad for that fsh. (Fish with no I's)

This is a great pond to go walk around and fish at, it has risen a lot from what it used to be, the trail behind the pond is heavily shaded and a lovely walk, I would be careful swimming or walking with pets their are a lot of fishing lines with hooks still attached!

Had a huge bite 07-27-2024, turned out to be a big turtle, carefully I removed the hook and put turtle back in the water.

We caught a total of 16 bluegill, and a few fell off. Steed Pond is my favorite place to fish because I know that we can catch fish easily here.

Caught my first fish there. Musta been all of 10yo at the time Catfish bite was absolute FIRE back then, early/mid 70s. Pond seemed bigger in my memories. another time a carp birdnested my Zebco 202 & snapped the pole like a twig,?. Good times...

Great bluegill fishing, caught a wiper, lots of shade from the trees. The sign says no swimming but yet some parents let their kids swim... not recommend as I pulled up 3 broken lines with hooks still attached from the water.

Love this park & All that ut has to offer!!!! Fishing, volleyball,play grounds,basketball, & soooooo much room for kids,dogs!!!!

Fun for the kids for a quick fishing trip, however, it was crowded and not very the clean. Water had multiple dead fish and duck near the shore.

ZERO!!!! Went to Steed Pond Saturday with my friends and our kids. There are SO MANY DEAD FISH AND DUCKS....Water is Super dirty.......This pond water is NOT SAFE or healthy for anyone. City needs to clean this disgusting mess!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful pond with ducks, crawdads, fish, even turtles of you look close enough! They have a great playground with unique climbing places too

The area is equipped with benches and an enjoyable view of the pond. Nice shaded trees and clear ground to place a blanket. Highly recommended!
