“The service is outstanding. Both vets are caring, personal and knowledgeable. They walked me through everything (labs, x-rays, ultrasounds etc) and explained what was happening. They even did a timely follow-up on extra research for the disease state of my dog to see what extra measures could be done. “This vet is very compassionate and allowed me some alone time with my pit bull that needed to be put to sleep due to losing the use of his back legs. They also gave me full details about what to expect throughout the process. I was able to get his remains in a beautiful cedar box and some momentos to keep him alive in my life. “Love this place. BUT One lady tired to say I had to have my cats teeth cleaned for 330$. First she said if the vet wants it then it will be done…even though that’s up to me. I told her no thanks cause the vet said they were already clean and didn’t need it. Just felt like I almost got tricked cause she didn’t highlight it as optional on the paper but highlighted other stuff.”
“We have been coming here for years seeing Dr. Hyde. He is very straightforward and extremely nice. He explains everything extremely well. They are very affordable and don’t do a lot of unnecessary procedures running up your bill. We went through 3 other vets before finding him. Better late than never I guess.”

“I have never had a single bad or even just "okay" experience with them; whether over the phone or in-person, it's always been great and I 100% trust them with my pets. Staff is always kind and professional. They all seem to be happy and compassionate employees. I never really wait once I'm checked in. I was shopping for a place to neuter my dog and felt nervous due to certain risks associated to any surgical procedures, and Animal Care West was the only place I truly felt confident and at peace, and I called MANY vets and had done quite a bit of research before deciding to go with them. Love their team and they seem to have a great culture. Highly recommend.”
“We have taken many pets to brookside, and have always had a good experience. We had a rescue that can't be in a crate or she freaks out, so when she was spayed brookside let me sit with her until she was sedated and they were ready to take her to surgery, it was very kind and kept her from being stressed out, they are quite expensive though, ihad to get my dog in for a scar on his head that was swelling and had started bleeding, so I really didn't think it was something that could wait , so they got me in on an "emergency " visit, $81 dollars extra for that,, but when I got there 1 person was the and just leaving not one other person was waiting and not one person came in the entire time I was there, so... I don't think they had to squeeze us in, so just to look at his head and give him antibiotics $160 (higher prices is why only 4 stars), so they are more expensive than some, but they are very good, Dr Henderson did surgery on my baby's head and he's doing really good and everyone was very nice and very sweet with my pup, and the stitches she put in were perfect, not one came undone, and he played super ruff like he always does , she did a great job on him.”
“Dr. Talbot has taken care of my various fur kids for about two decades- he is knowledgeable and has true empathy for his animal patients. He has an incredible medical understanding for the best remedy for an illness or injury, coupled with understanding animals as they age. He was so gentle and thorough with his assessment of my fragile geriatric dog, and was very patient with me as a concerned, but nervous dog mom. I think he is a compassionate & skilled medical provider. I highly recommend Dr. Talbot.”

“Frustrated that I asked how much extra the wormer was and was told $4 but after looking at the receipt it was an extra $30. Still cheaper than going to a vet office but I could have easily bought that wormer and done both of my dogs for that price.”

“We love love LOVE the team here! When we rescued our senior dog he was in rough shape and our usual vet couldn't get him in even after we explained the situation. Birch Creek got him in immediately and took excellent care of him and went above and beyond. The vet even called us while on vacation to give us lab results! Since then, we've transferred our other two dogs' records there and they are consistently patient, can always get us in if we have something urgent come up, and are so sweet to our three dogs even though they HATE going to the vet and can be difficult little patients while there . The vets and techs there also take their time and make sure all questions are answered and give lots of options and information every appointment. They also walked us through every price point and gave us several options of things there as well. Their bedside manner is so great and we are so thankful we found them! (For the record, we have seen multiple providers here, but usually see Richardson or Klar!)”
