Mighty fine company. Out of the top ten trucking companies in Utah to work for, I guarantee you this company is within the top ten. For credibility purposes, let me give you my resume. Prior to coming here, I worked for Norm Howard trucking. I got a brand new truck every year. Pre pass. Idle 24/7. I could fuel up wherever. Blue beacon whenever I wanted. I could bobtail tail. Satellite TV and satellite radio. Norm jerked the chains off me, and I put the work in, and they gave whatever I wanted. And this company is pretty much the same way. However, you can't bobtail, no satellite TV or radio, and only once a month at blue beacon, but he has a wash bay. No matter what company you are with, there will always be things that you don't like with the company. No company is all around perfect. Like with Norm, I'd do 5 to 8 picks in downtown Los Angeles and then run to Denver, which means I'd be chaining up at least twice a week ( and that was starting to get old ). The bottom line is this: Paul Terry offers many, many, many, many good things to you, which clearly out weighs the little tiny things that you might not like. And if you can't adjust, you're the one with the problem, because there are trucking companies out there that are an absolute nightmare to work for. Me getting hired on here was an absolute blessing. The ELD is state of the art. There's fuel at his yard. Flying j/pilot for fuel up. Wash bay. A beautiful shop with friendly mechanics. If you get hired on, safety will slam you with videos and tests, which is absolutely painful, but believe it or not you'll learn something from it. I cannot stress out to you enough how professional this company is. In some areas probably a little bit more so than Norm Howard. Paul Terry is in the office first thing in the morning, so he's actively involved with his company and he stays late ( he's not just an owner that just cuts a check ). You can tell he's proud of his company, and rightfully so. So if you're afraid of working, don't come here. If you're gonna do d*** stuff to compromise his company CSA score, don't come here. Paul has worked for many, many, many years to build up what he has, so he won't let a dime a dozen nobody come over and potentially wipe out what he's worked hard for .With this company, it's reefer. We load at Great Lakes cheese in Filmore. Usually the trailers are pre loaded in advance. Worse case scenario you have to wait an hour to get loaded. For the most part it's one deliveries, but you'll have the occasional 2 to 3 drops. No biggy. Who cares? Work is work. And his equipment is absolutely clean and beautiful. When I got hired on I was put in a brand new Western Star chromed out with 4000 miles on it with leather seats. What else can I ask for? The bottom line is this: If I get fired in the future, this review will not be deleted or edited. Because if I get fired in the future, it's because of my own stupidity. Because the facts are the facts. And the fact remains you can't go wrong with this company.
