Mountain Dog Lounge
464 N Main St, Heber CityWe had such a great experience at the Mountain Dog Lounge here in Heber City! We brought our dogs in to get their nails done, and the team was incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in. They were so gentle and kind with our dogs, and we loved that we were able to see the entire process — it really gave us peace of mind.
The shop itself is adorable, clean, and has such a warm vibe. This has honestly been one of the best grooming experiences we’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we highly recommend Mountain Dog Lounge to anyone looking for a great place to take their pups. We’ll be visiting again soon for more services for our doggies!

Granny's Drive In
511 S Main St, Heber CityThis is a family favorite. I'm glad they are open year round now. We come in at least once a year from Provo or if we're driving through Heber to get a burger and shake. Best fresh raspberry and banana shakes! (Better than the famous Bear Lake raspberry shakes in my opinion!)

Paws for Life Utah
89 N 100 E, Heber CityWith my experiences adopting a dog here, it went very well. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgable about the animals they have. They aren't afraid to tell you the bad habits of a certain pet, but they also gave great advice for every question I had. I went in there a couple times and they always had different dogs up for adoption. It appears dogs get adopted fast from this center, which shows their commitment to finding homes for these pets. My dog already had her vaccinations, was spade, and was used to being around people, dogs, cats, and children. Their animals are very well socialized being around people and pets all day. I noticed the puppies and young dogs always got adopted first. I think some of the old dogs had been there a while sadly. They let me take my dog home for 2 weeks without any commitment before I decided to adopt her. They also let me borrow a dog crate and keep dog toys, as well as letting me keep the collar and leash they used for her. There is an adoption fee with pups the most expensive and old dogs very cheap. My dog was the second most expensive option being a older puppy, $250. Worth the price and cheaper than a breeder I reckon. If you're looking for a pet you can always visit every so often until you meet a dog you love. I'm not knowledgable about the cat adoptions, but my dog adoption experience was worth 5 stars.
