The Mountain View Inn offers a mixed experience for guests. While the accommodations are pet-friendly and the rooms are generally clean and spacious, some aspects of the hotel fall short of expectations. The location is a bit unconventional, with the front desk in a separate building from the rooms. Parking is ample, but the lack of an elevator can be a challenge, especially for those with heavy luggage. The rooms are former dorms, so they lack the luxuries of a high-end hotel, but they are still family-friendly and provide the necessary amenities. Guests have reported some issues, such as outdated decor, ineffective air conditioning, and the occasional presence of bugs. The laundry facilities have also been described as unacceptable, with long drying times and overcrowding. However, the hotel is generally considered a decent option, especially for those on a budget or requiring temporary lodging. The staff is described as awesome, and the proximity to various amenities is a plus. While not the Ritz, the Mountain View Inn can provide a comfortable stay for those in need of affordable, pet-friendly accommodations.
Price great for the area. Microwave in kitchen above my wife's head. Would be nice if an extra blanket was in the room. If needed would be happy to stay there again.

I am retired military, so look to stay on base. This is one of the best I've stayed at.
