Third visit in 12 yrs and never disappoints. The staff are the best! Spent a day in their Spa and feel like a new woman, renewed and ready to take on the world. Amazing food and flexible dining options. Love, love, love it. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to renew their spirit and recharge!

I stayed at Red Mountain for 5 days in November '21. The setting as other reviews state is spectacular. I had been to this resort several times a number of years ago and many things have changed. I paid for the whole package - room, food, hikes and some classes as well as pool and gym access. I think it was a better value in the long run than a la carte. Nowadays the emphasis is more on spa experiences and hikes in the gorgeous red rocks than it is about fitness. Although the food is fine it is no longer particularly calorie or health conscious. There are interesting cocktails, pasta, steak, salmon, burgers and fries and nice desserts. The classes were fun things like drumming and yoga by candle light but I had come expecting Red Mountain to be a more rigorous fitness experience so this new version was not for me. The resort says your room will not be cleaned daily because of gov't standards during Covid but another resort I later moved to (not too far from Red Mountain) offered daily service, great food, the same wonderful hikes, spa services and great fitness offerings. I met nice people at Red Mountain and everyone loved the hikes, the spa services and a nice bottle of wine with dinner.

The resort markets itself as a health and wellness facility yet only a few employees were wearing masks indoors. I was shocked to see so many maskless people including servers and employees in the restaurant, fitness center, and in guest services. The only place I saw a mask mandate was in the spa but when I was booking a massage a therapist walked out of the back with her mask below her nose. We decided not to book any trips with them because we didn't trust that they would enforce the mask mandate in their shuttles. I was excited to use the fitness room but there were so many people not wearing masks that I ended up working out outside on the lawn. They do have a lot of nice outdoor spaces thankfully. The resort is set in a beautiful setting with views of red rock cliffs as advertised but I was surprised that it was located in the middle of suburbia sprawl development. I thought it was going to be a bit more remote. Our goal was to spend time in Zion and Bryce. I would book a place closer to the Ntl. Parks next time. Based on other reviews, my husband and I requested a second floor Mtn. King. When I called to make a request, the customer service person told us ALL the Mtn. Kings were on the second floor and that we would be placed upstairs. When we arrived, they told us we were on the first floor so she gave us incorrect information. We asked if we could move to a second floor but they were all booked. The rooms are really small but we were lucky to be on the end so we had two nice windows. The location ended up being great and our upstairs neighbors weren't very noisy. We did hear them walking around though. The labyrinth, pool, and hot tub were right outside our building (Turtle) and we had great views of the red rocks. We used the hot tub and pool every day and there were rarely others there. We had the hot tub to ourselves nearly every night. The maintenance staff were really great and even gave us a recommendation for the best pizza place in St. George. The housekeeping staff were really helpful too and brought us extra towels. Also, I will say that the manager Tracey was really helpful on the phone and spent a lot of time answering questions and helping us book our five days. I wish I would have asked her about mask protocols but she was knowledgeable, professional and super friendly. We ate at the restaurant outside on the patio one night. The food was well made and the steak and seafood were cooked perfectly. The inside of the restaurant looked like a big conference facility. It seems like the entire place is set up a bit more for conferences and group retreats more then for a couples getaway. We probably won't stay here again (mostly because of the location and lax COVID protocols) but we had a pleasant enough stay because we had a lot of options for doing things outside and the full moon rising over the labyrinth was a special treat.

Enjoyed a two night, post-Zion stay here to further unwind for a weekend of wellness. The service was very prompt with the rooms, and staff were courteous upon arrival. The rooms were very clean and tidy, with all advertised amenities fully stocked. We were able to rent bikes and ride into the canyon early in the morning to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Hiked the second day and took advantage of the spa with a massage. The ambiance of the hotel being tucked away near the canyons made the stay wonderful.

I requested an upper room based on people's complaints about hearing the noise of people stomping around up above. I didn't get an upstairs room but it was good because I liked not having to haul all our bags upstairs and we were able to walk right out to the pool from our room in the Quail building. I did hear people walking upstairs but it was a distant thud thud noise. Unless, we didn't have anyone above us and it was up and over that I was hearing but I don't think so. I was able to tune out the sound and it didn't wake us at all. Really enjoyed our stay. Very nice walking trail, canyon breeze had good food and was reasonably priced, and I enjoyed a enjoyed a very nice reflexology from Michael. Didn't try restaurant or any of the classes/adventures offered.

We were on the 2nd floor and there were no elevators so I had to haul two 50 lb suitcases up 2 flights of stairs (also when we left). We found the room to be dated. There was no cleaning service or fresh towels provided. This may be a COVID thing but we had stayed in 3 other hotels in Utah this week and had cleaning service. We requested our trash to be picked up the 1st day and it was not, so we ended up taking our trash ourselves. The surroundings, the scenery was beautiful. The restaurant and spa were only adequate. I thought the room to be very much overpriced.

Staying here was such an amazing experience. The staff was wonderful, rooms were clean, the view is spectacular, and the food was fantastic. I have Celiacs Disease and they took great care to make sure I knew what my options were for all meals. We will definitely be back someday!

Over all very disappointing....my Thanksgiving dinner was a bag of popcorn-I had to purchase from guest services-was told no shuttle service from the airport-requested to reschedule a session to join the wild mustang horse-the one thing I wanted to experience.....list goes on.....
