“Maverik Gas Stations are the best gas stations in Utah. They have slurpee’s food, lots of drink selections and one of the best things about them is that the bathrooms are almost always clean and tidy. When on road trips we go to a lot of bathrooms and my wife and kids beg for maverik!”
“Really convenient location right off the highway in Utah. Prices are great as well. Doesn't carry 87 octane but 85 will do I reckon, as you're close to Colorado anyways and it's mainstream to use 85 octane there.Nobody's wearing masks, but the area looks pretty clean. There aren't a lot of pumps compared to other gas stations, but for the location, the convenience (proximity to freeway) and the fact that it's a generally rural area, I'd say this is the best you can get.”
“The employees are super friendly very respectful and helpful. Plenty of room to move around in the store. They clean the soda fountain every night break it all the way down. The fountain soda's taste so much better than Maverick's. Texaco has more syrups flavors to add to the soda than maverick. Texaco reward system is so customer friendly it not sell your information and it not have you to constantly put in something to verify it is you they give you a punch card for soda's and some other stuff and w the gas if you have a Texaco credit card it gives some type of rewards for the fuel purchase like Maverick. I really appreciate this gas station because it's always super clean including the restroom. Employees smile when you come in they greet you as you enter the store. They have a small sit down area. I would highly recommend this gas station verses maverick to anyone”
“We hit a deer in our rental RV just down the road from Flying U. We parked out back and could not drive it further. It took several hours for us to get a tow. In the meantime, we spent so much time in this lovely little store with the kindest and most understanding people. They were so accommodating with us and our two young girls. The food was delicious, there was tasty ice cream, kids games, and there were even secret little ducks hidden around the store that they made a game out of finding and rehiding :)
The whole store and bathrooms were super clean, and by the end of the day the store staff felt like family, cheering us on to be “rescued”. They gave recommendations for tow companies and repair shops, offered rides, and Rich (behind the counter who made the best burger!) even offered to call his wife and daughter to bring us anything we needed. They made our rough day actually enjoyable.
It’s far from most everything, but it’s worth driving a few miles off the highway to find this gem.”
