“Bingham Cyclery in Sunset was a surprise from the start. I'd never been in before because I had (wrongly as it turns out) assumed that it was purely for $7 - $10k bikes and would only have expensive parts.
I went in with my E-bike and needed a new derailer and chain. The total price for the parts labor and tax was around 68 dollars. They were polite, knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing. Also they didn't seem bothered by my slew of questions. After putting on the derailer and chain they discovered that my rear sprocket had seized and I had to get a new one. $20 no additional labor.
A new chain, derailer, rear sprocket, labor (and I have my suspicions that they adjusted my loose brakes for me as well) for just over $80 was far more than I had hoped for.
They told me I would need to pick it up in the morning as it was a more complicated repair and then surprised me an hour later with a text informing me they had finished early.
All told it was a great experience and I will be going back in the future. Thanks Folks!”
“Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Visited originally because they were a convenient stop for my son’s bicycle. They took good care of him and his ride; suggesting tire ideas. They took a Quick Look at his bike and gave it a good bill of health. Since then I’ve brought most of our families bicycles, including my own, with plans to bring in the rest this fall. Reasonable repair rates and a most comfortable service turn around period. I highly recommend that you stop in and check them out!”
