Self check has made customer service go away. We come here (now used to come here) every Sunday. They didn’t have a checker at 930 on a Sunday morning. When I asked the lady at customer service if they could open a check stand and she snapped at me and said she didn’t have a checker. Mind you there were 3 Smiths workers standing right there. So I left my groceries in the cart and left. I refuse to use self check. Yall don’t pay me to check myself out. If I had 1 or 5 items I would have self checked. What would have you done if you didn’t have a self check? Would you have just told the customers to pound sand? Cmon smiths DO BETTET!!!!

Had a periodic sale on brick cheese at $2.50/lb. When that happens I buy heavily to stock up since it keeps well in the fridge. Prices generally tend to be high but sales and markdown are my targets here

Smith's is great! Their pharmacy is great and the drive through is very convenient! Grocery pickup next to pharmacy drive through is super convenient!! Grocery pickup always goes smooth. App is great, convenient and easy

Shopping here has become more of a hassle than it's worth! I find the produce to be better nearly every single time at WinCo. The coupon/ sale situation is infuriating. Things are never ringing up correctly. It all feels intentionally misleading! Giving them my personal info is not enough now I have to spend excessive amounts of time on their app to save 50 pennies on grapes! It's just unpleasant to shop here! Also the super slow security gates agh!

Ever since the new store director started this store has gone straight downhill. I used to be able to come here and get everything I needed, now I'm lucky if I can find anything and a lot of employees have quit because he's such a jerk to them!

Machine are dirty didn't want to put food on the check ot machine... then it didn't over skip bagging, also would not register my organic plums i had to put in multiple times. Attendent sent me to another Machine that had a hard time excepting payment. Poor customer service ad the Machines were dirty and the systems seamed slow and troubled

Smith’s, in Kaysville, is my favorite grocery store! I appreciate having several different specialty shops; bakery, butcher, fresh produce, deli, pharmacy, floral department plus clothing, home goods, toys, cards, pet care, artisan cheese, and much more. I shop here for the fresh produce, floral, bakery, deli, pharmacy and delicious rotisserie chicken.I much prefer shopping here rather than trying to compete with a crowd of people, noise and long lines, such as you would find in larger stores.

I have noticed Smiths/Krogers’ prices have risen around $1-2 dollars per item compared to other local grocery stores. And each time I go have been overcharged for items and have to request a cashier correct or go to the customer service counter for resolution.Smiths’ strategy seems to focus on having sale prices to lure costumers in, yet the items are not rung up to correspond with the sale prices advertised. Some people don’t want their nose in their phone when they shop. Why not advertise items on sale and then have them ring up as advertised, honoring the ad, instead of requiring customers go through the effort of opening the app and checking ad items while shopping?It is my opinion Smiths gauges their customers with these strategies. Stores that value customers make the shopping experience easy and honor sale prices for all, not just those who use their app!

Buyers beware. I love having Smiths so close to me, that’s why I go, but I’m becoming increasingly frustrated with the Kaysville store. Every time I go, multiple items do not ring up at the correct price. The tag will show a sale price but it won’t ring up at the sale price. OR there’s a digital coupon to scan, but the print and QR code is so tiny that it’s easy to miss. They’re probably banking on people thinking “oh it’s on sale” so they grab extra, then don’t notice they didn’t get the sale price at checkout. I’ve been seeing this happen so much that I’m starting to take pictures of the tags. Then checkout takes twice as long because the attendant has to do the adjustments. Sometimes they still aren’t right and I don’t notice til I get home. It’s getting so frustrating. Smith’s has lost my trust and is slowly losing my business. This HAS to be fixed, you are being dishonest!

This is my favorite Smiths location! They are always very clean, friendly, and the shelves are always fully stocked! I was extremely impressed with their nondairy department! This location had a lot of alternative milks to choose from! My favorite part of this store is the baby seat in the family restroom! I have only seen one of these seats in my whole life. I wish they were more accessible everywhere! Thank you Smith’s, for installing this child seat in your restroom for us parents! It was such a life saver with my toddler! I hope you can provide more of those seats at more of your locations!

I don’t usually complain and make remarks but I was so disappointed this Easter weekend. Having been in a terrible car wreck and still recovering, I decided to purchase dessert for my family. So I ordered eclairs for all the dessert. I ordered the small ones and expected the often seen little ones with a little rose, etc. I was shocked to receive eclairs (sort of) as long as big hotdogs….not a speck of pretty color for Easter. I had ask about custard in them instead of whipping cream. . Was told they put some custard in them and then whipping cream. They were piled sky high with thick, yucky whipped cream. Not a drop of custard and tough as can be. I scraped out all the stuff in them, made custard to put in and whipped my own freshly made whipped cream and put some little Easter colored jelly bellies on them. Oh, and cut them in half. They looked better but we’re extremely dry and hard. So disappointing! My last days at that bakery.
