Had a bit of a misunderstanding in how returns worked-- i was told by Verizon how to do what was needed to be done and I was trying to follow that so I didn't get charged by Verizon

Very strange interaction tonight… Been coming here for a while and never had any issues but tonight was a stark contrast. I walk in just before closing and one of the attendants says loudly (without even looking at me, “we’re closed”. I ask if they’re serious, given my watch still says 6:59 and the same attendant repeated what he said before. The other attendant speaks up and says “come over here, I got you”. I thank him and set down my item and reach for my phone to pull up the barcode. I then realize I left my phone in the car and I need to go out to get it. I ask if I can go get my phone and they tell me to come back tomorrow… as if taking 30 seconds to scan my barcode is going to ruin their closing. They acted like typical smug teenagers with a “I don’t care” attitude. I ask if taking 30 seconds to help me is going to ruin their night and one says loudly “I’m just tryin’ to go home”. I’m baffled at the lack of common customer service. They explain “come back tomorrow and it will take us 30 seconds then”.
I’ll be following up with management.

This is my favorite UPS store! I’ve been going here for a couple years now and it must be managed incredibly well because I always see the same friendly employees with hardly any turnover. They all work efficiently and quickly since they know exactly what they’re doing and get along well. One of the newer employees I’ve noticed the past couple months is Isabella. I work in the art industry so I love her purple hair and artistic accessories when I come in! She fits right in with this friendly and hardworking UPS team. Well done to whoever’s in charge of hiring and morale/ retention. ⭐️

I am an older lady. I did not really understand about packaging about insurance about tracking and they were very gracious and helping me understand. I left the store and then came back a few hours later and did send my package and I feel very comfortable about it and they were very pleasant and very helpful.

The Manager, Will, and.his staff has always given me the best customer service. As a matter of fact, I've recently had 2 very difficult situations that he has gone over and beyond what needed to be done to solve my situation. A big thank you to Will.

The clerk who was the only one up front today at 1 p.m. was very passive aggressive, snarky and you can tell they were unhappy to be there.
I understand hating a job and being miserable but if you hate it so much then find another one or deal with it. Don't take it out on your customers.
