I'd leave a Zero star review if I could.. I never have had a good experience with this post office. Staff has always been rude. They close early (constantly) so be in queue 15-30 minutes ahead or they won't process you even when you're already in line, because they're going home on time regardless...Kaysville's Post Office is a shining example of setting a low bar, and still not hitting it, Embarrassing!

Terrible customer service and rude staff. Worst post office around.

We had a too big of a box shoved in our mailbox 11/26/2022, we had to use scissors to get it out. If you are that lazy that you cannot deliver a bigger box to the porch you need to not deliver boxes bigger than a certain size, or find employees who aren't lazy. If this happens again we will be asking the USPS to pay to replace and install a new mailbox.

I've had to deal with this Post Office two times in the last 60 days...both times, from long distance.I have to tell you, in a time where we rarely hear anything good about the Post Office, the crew here are fabulous. The office staff is always friendly when I stop in up in to conduct business in person. But in a crunch is where they really shine!

honestly if I could give zero stars I absolutely would. & I was sad , yet not surprised at all to see that more than half of these reviews agree. the woman with the very short red hair is absolutely rude as can be EVERY single time me and my mom go there and she is mean to my mom who is not mean to ANYONE. She has a high and mighty attitude to her, she only smiles at men, she talks to you like you should know all of the same knowledge about post office stuff as her (someone who’s probably worked there for years). And the man with the long ponytail is having a bad day 70% of the time and has a terrible attitude when he is as well. it’s so bad that my anxiety literally can’t even handle going to my own city’s post office anymore and have to drive an extra 20 minutes to comfortably deliver a freaking package.

These people need training on how to be customer oriented. They were rude. Never in my life have I seen people who hate their job so bad that they take it out on their customers. I understand holidays are stressful but being rude to the people that rely on you is unacceptable. If you hate people, don’t work in customer service field. I wish I could give 0 stars.

My brother ran an errand for me trying to help me out, since I’m home pregnant and with a screaming toddler. He got upsold into buying the $58 roll of stamps! My brother has visible cognitive delays, so this was even more maddening to me. I turned around and ran to the Kaysville location within the HOUR (receipt in hand) to return the stamps and they told me there was nothing I could do. Everyone there got to watch me have a complete pregnant melt-down..There is a reason I dread the post office…

I have come two times after work. I work until 5 and it takes 10 minutes to get to the post office in Kaysville and it is closed. Even though it says they work until 5:30, they are closed. Two times this has happened to me. Did you change your schedule and have not changed it in the website or the notes on the door?

I sent a package here from across the country. Not only did I get notifications that there were issues with delivery (I had addressed it incorrectly), but upon contact they made sure it got to where it needed to be…on a Saturday…15 minutes before closing! Thank you!

Last year I was experiencing some quality issues with our postman. I often see people parking in front of our house and parking close to the mailbox. I don’t know who these people are and where they’re at after they park. I also don’t sit and watch every car that parks in front of my house. Because I do have other things in life that I need to do. I’ve seen many types of cars parking there. I don’t know any owners of these cars. During the winter last year the postman decided to retaliate by constantly leaving my mailbox open. Maybe he thought this would teach me a lesson. Whatever the reasons, this was a passive aggressive response and should not have been allowed. Several time I went outside to find my mail blowing down the street. I would not have been surprised if my mail was stolen or grabbed by kids. After storms our mail was sopping wet and sometimes illegible. No warning notes were left on the cars of the people responsible for taking the postman’s spot. Just the passive-aggressive acts to retaliate against me. I should also mention that my neighbors mailbox was right next to mine, but she never experienced this behavior. I called the postmaster at the post office to discuss the matter and he refused to offer any type of help. He was rude, cold and prideful. He told me the post man had the right to do what he did. He told me I was lucky that he didn’t make me pick up my mail from the post office. Then - in another passive-aggressive manner - he added that he would be happy to tell the postman to leave the mailbox at the post office so that I would have to pick up my mail there everyday. We spoke for a while about the matter and he refused to see my perspective. He raised his voice at me several times during the conversation. No apologies for the postman’s behavior and not any offers to help me in any way. I’m floored at the behavior I saw by these people. Floored by the childish, unprofessional attitudes and behaviors I experienced. This will be something I take up with higher ups. Destruction of private information is unacceptable and can prompt legal action. This company deserves a zero. I understand being frustrated with the situation. I’d possibly be frustrated too. But, frustrations are a part of every job! I’ve never had a job that was frustration-free! You learn to handle these frustrations in a mature manner. One positive thing I will say is that the person who delivers my mail now has given me no problems so I’m satisfied with my service at the moment.

Very rude, uncaring man working there. I had no mail delivery for over 2 weeks! He couldn't care less. I was given no notice that mail delivery would not happen due to construction. Funny...UPS , FedEx get through.
