“Location is tight on that curve so getting out may take a minute to get out with a trailer as cars fly around that curve… though apart from that; it was a very clean stop with a friendly staff.”

“While on a vacation trip i went here to fill up on gas and get some food, suddenly out of nowhere the is guy in a yellow bear costume (at least i think it was a costume) had a box over his head carrying a watermelon, I didn’t even know they had watermelons here, one of the employees sees him trying to sneak out of the building and he throws the box to the side, lifts the water melon over his head then places it into a golf cart and drives off in it, best experience of my life, I highly recommend coming to this location”

But also the service! If you come in with a smile and treat any of the employees half way decent, you'll get it back 10-fold

“We saw an "Ernie's Too!" billboard claiming they had the best chicken strips on our road trip to the Grand Canyon. We passed by and decided to stop and see if the claim was true. We were not disappointed! The chicken strips were pretty darn amazing! So crispy and juicy. Ernie's sauce and the jalapeno ranch sauce were our favorites. We wish we would have tried the other tasty things offered next to the strips. My wife and I absolutely recommend to stop and grab some strips. You will love them too!”
“Stopped here to fill up before heading to Zion National Park because GasBuddy listed the gas prices the lowest in town. Unfortunately that was not the case and turned out to be just as high as anywhere else close by. However, if you pay in CASH the price is lower, just wished that was disclosed beforehand. There are only four gas pumps at this location with a small convenience store. There are restrooms available, and this is not your mega gas station brand. The location is not the best if you are traveling northbound because of the amount of traffic. However, it is much safer having a stop light for people attempting to go north on Route 9 from this location. The staff was friendly.”

“This Maverick is a regular stop for my family. We like to visit Kolob Terrace when we visit the area and this location is perfect to gas up before or after our trip.
We have found the restrooms clean during our visits and they always have a well stocked drink selection to get us rehydrated.
During the busiest times, the pumps fill up fast, but most drivers are in and out quickly. The parking lot is huge and has lots of space for the extra cars, plus plenty of places to park.
A small area to one side is good for letting your dog or kids get out of the car and stretch their legs.
Overall, this Maverick is a good place to fill your car, empty your bladder, and get rehydrated.”
