Ellison Park is a large, popular outdoor space featuring wide open fields, grassy areas, and a variety of sports facilities including baseball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts, a pickleball court, and a skate park. The park also has two playgrounds, one smaller for younger children, and a splash pad that kids enjoy, especially during warmer weather. It is well maintained, with the fields, playgrounds, and splash pad generally in good shape. The park is suitable for picnics, barbecues, and various events, though it can get crowded and parking may be limited at times. Restrooms are available but are far from some areas, and they are sometimes closed or have trash cans removed seasonally. The park is a fun and versatile place, but it faces issues with vandalism and limited shaded areas near playgrounds. Dogs are not allowed at Ellison Park.

I came for the pickleball and it exceeded my expectations. There are eight dedicated pickleball courts with fences separating all courts and shaded areas to sit and watch.

The pickle ball courts are gorgeous, and the park is very well taken care of, I see lots of soccer teams doing their practice, lots of people jogging through the day. It's definefinetly a very nice community park.
