Nick is a real stand-up guy does the best that he can would recommend this GameStop just because of him. Called in about a product see if it was in stock when it said it wasn't online, he made sure is actually see if they had one and they did. (If a GameStop has one quantity of something it will not show in stock online)

If I could leave negative stars I would, I went in and bought a USED ps4 controller and was charged 3 different times in 3 different transactions, I went to the store to try to resolve it and was told there was nothing they could do and they gave me customer supports number I called them and was again told there was nothing that can be done because it was done in store. It blows my mind that NOBODY can fix this problem in store or with customer service. So now I’m stuck with three seperate 70 dollar charges because they won’t fix it. Absolutely ridiculous. Absolute worse customer service experience. I advise to stay away from GameStop and this store. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

HUGE shoutout to the amazing staff at the Layton GameStop. They were all so kind and patient. Especially with people that were nervous about today. :-) thank you for the pizza and we’ll be back often to buy from this store.

Nickoli/ Nickolas was an amazing help! Went for a trade in with my sister and he was very kind informational and friendly! I live out in ogden and rather drive all the way here than to the other two on the way! Customer service amazing

How is it fair that your policy for Switch 2 pre-orders is one per household, and yet a customer's wife said OUT LOUD that she already had a pre-order for the Switch 2 (no bundle). Yet the worker gave the husband a pre-order for the Switch 2 bundle. Your worker SHOULD have denied him the pre-order and given it to someone else, since his wife said she already had one. It doesn't matter if they got one from a different retailer, the worker SHOULD have denied him the pre order. I will not pre-order a console from this location ever.

I submitted cards to be graded via GamStop. Sports came back quick and easy. Pokemon however has been 4 months and a month of that was in the QA status (last before it gets sent back) not complaining about this.
Called game stop to get more details, excellent customer call. Few things to note for anyone.
1. PSA will not give you a status update as you are a gamestops customer. Don’t try and call them it’s a waste of time
2. The average employee will not be able to get you any details as they can only see what you can see in the app - this is dumb
3. Employee said the only people that would be able to are MAYBE store manager or district manager - and you cannot speak to them directly to get an update
4. BYPASS ALL OF THE ABOVE AND JUST SUBMIT DIRECTLY TO YOUR CARD GRADING COMPANY OF CHOICE - you will get better communication.
5. They hardly have any cards in stock- lame for the average collector

Loved the store. Went in for help with changing payment on a pre-ordered collectors edition and, for some reason, customer service was closed in the middle of the day on a Saturday. Even the store manager was surprised.

Bought a PS5 through their buy online and pick up in store and it was ready in 4 minutes!!! I went to the store and was helped out nicely. Bonus points for having the new digital version when all the other major chains such as Best Buy and Walmart are sold out in the state of Utah

I bought a new OLED Nintendo Switch here today and was helped by Evelyn, who is as fantastically helpful and knowledgeable as they are friendly. They did a phenomenal job applying the screen protector I bought at their recommendation, too: not a dust speck to be seen, and my new system's screen shall be safe behind the tempered glass.

Deleted an old 5 star review to update I'm never doing business with GameStop again. An issue that started with an online order escalated into a circus ring of lost items, talking to the store manager of this location who needs a serious attitude change, and almost 3 months of hell talking with their corporate-level customer support. I know my shipping issues wouldn't have been an issue if I ensured I had the correct address down, but the following disaster was an unprofessional mess on both this store and corporate.Guess what? Despite the fact the items I ordered were shipped to the location of this store, and the manager (very rudely mind you) insisted they didn't have them, the corporate loss prevention said that they were - in fact - delivered to that store! I am done with this disaster of a company, and hope the Funko Pop market crashes sooner or later since that's the only garbage keeping this godawful company afloat when they should've went out of business a decade ago.
