I wanted to get a pair of comfortable walking shoes for my upcoming trip to Disney World as none of the shoes I currently own worked. We were making a trip to the Layton Mall from North Logan and when searching for comfortable shoes Striders (now Fleet Feet) in Layton came up with good reviews and good shoe selection. We were greeted immediately upon entering the store and learned about their foot scan. Amber was a great help explaining the foot scan and what she thought I needed to meet my request. I tried on 4 different pairs of shoes (3 brands) with medium cushioning and one with high cushioning. I was more comfortable with the medium cushioning and now own the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever had, have inserts, and moisture wicking socks for the long days at Disney World. Certainly worth the trip and will visit again. Thanks, Amber!!!

Love this place! Someone was there to help almost immediately and they didn’t mind doing a new scan for me (of my feet) to make sure I get the right shoe and the right support insole. I’ve been coming here for 7 years and my feet have never felt better!!

Jaimee was the employee who helped me. She was extremely patient with me and answered all my questions. She was very knowledgeable about the shoes and which ones would best help my feet. She gave honest opinions and feedback. I was very appreciative of her kindness and help. I feel confident in the shoes I have because of her help! The store also seemed to be well stocked and clean.

I love Fleet Feet!!
They do foot scans at no charge, which help them look at all aspects of your feet and the way you walk and then help you find shoes that will fit you best.
The shoes I bought from them are the best fit of athletic shoes I’ve ever had.
I also have 2 young adult children who recently had their feet scanned and had a similar great experience.
I plan to buy all my walking/running shoes from Fleet Feet.

Prices and Email Subscription handling leaves a LOT of room for improvement.
Once you're subscribed to their email lists, you'll have to apply a filter to block their emails. One cannot simply unsubscribe from their email lists, it's quite annoying. Also, their prices seem to be fairly high, not very competitive, with their employees apparently uneducated in the industry of shoes (seemingly clueless, especially when asked specific questions about certain shoes).
All that being said, I did agree to buy their top-of-the-line Alta shoes, and I'm quite happy with them, even though I wish I could have spent a bit less on them.
I would consider going again, but man, if it's cheaper on Amazon, I hate to say it, I will most likely go there next time.
