Ream's Food Stores is a local grocery store that offers a mixed shopping experience. The produce department is consistently praised for its freshness and quality, with some customers considering it the best in town. However, the store's arrangement and overall appearance are often described as outdated and disorganized, with items not always being in their expected locations. The meat department receives mixed reviews, with some customers finding it acceptable, while others wish it would offer more budget-friendly options, such as selling fat scraps at a discounted price. The bakery has also undergone changes, with a new bakery (K and D) receiving positive feedback, particularly for their Thanksgiving rolls. Nonetheless, some customers express nostalgia for the previous bakery and its popular donuts. Customer service is generally praised, with a specific employee mentioned for their helpful reminders about ongoing sales. The store is also appreciated for its eclectic selection of "different" items, providing an element of surprise for shoppers. While the overall experience is described as convenient due to the store's proximity, some customers note that the prices are higher compared to other local options like Winco.
Reams has good produce. Meat department is okay. The arrangement of the store sucks. Nothing is where it should be. It is terribly outdated. I only go there when I really need something fast.
