Gas Stations near Meadow, UT

“I am writing this with so much gratitude for this service station in Meadow Utah . Meadow is a very rural area of Utah about 100 miles south of the larger city of Nephi ( which in itself is quite small ) . . . I am a single female who drove my Tesla up from Los Angeles to Park City where I have a second home .Somewhere around Meadow I noticed my driver's side tire pressure dropping drastically and I knew I was in trouble. A large nail was firmly lodged in the tire. I pulled my car into Meadow Tire and Shell and called triple AAA whom after about an hour of aggravation essentially left me to deal with this situation on my own. They were in effect absolutely useless so if you own a Tesla there is no need to maintain a membership with this company . There was literally nothing in this area and I was starting to envision having to pay 100's if not 1000's of dollars to have my car towed to Salt Lake City Tesla the following day and I don't know if there was even a motel in the area. To make a long story short a wonderful young man , an employee by the name of Colton Madsen did come forth to say he believed he would be able to patch the tire .He not only proficiently patched the tire from the inside ,he could not possibly have been more polite. After this two hour unexpected delay I was able to get back on the road albeit I was quite nervous about the tire . It not only held up until I reached my destination, ( several hundred miles North ) , but the following day I took the car to the Tesla Service Center in Salt Lake City where I was told that I did not need to replace the tire and the patch was clearly maintaining the integrity of the tire. Not only did young Mr Madsen deliver me from a potentially harrowing situation , he saved me hundreds of dollars by not having to replace the tire.
There are still some upstanding people in this world and Colton Madsen is among them . I hope this service station recognizes what a gem they have on their hands and reward him somehow.”

“Looks like they allow dumping of home garbage in their dumpster in back so that's cool.

Close to the dumpster I see RVs dump into the grass there and nobody stops them so must be allowed?”

“They have packets of hot chocolate, the best sheets and towels, and it's quiet! I hit the trifecta. I had been driving all day and found this hotel on Google. I called and and over the phone got and paid for the room. I was sent a code for the door lock and receipt immediately. The price was great compared to the other places I've stayed at. Yes, it's off the freeway but the drive is worth it. I saw 2 flocks of wild turkeys. The place is older but well maintained and clean. There is a gas station next door so you can easily fill your tank before you leave and the people are friendly. I was told by man I talked to that there were no restaurants so eat before I got there.”

“My favorite thing to do is walk in, ask for an item and admire the ladies as they pop on over to the item without missing a beat and grab me what I needFull disclosure--i hit a really low point in my life and I went to a big box feed store to purchase a castration kit which I then used the scalpel to self harm which led to multiple psych stays, a blood transfusion and at one point nearly loosing my life which I can now say I am glad I survived now that I am out of that dark tunnel.The problem is that self harm can become just addicting as alcoholism or drug addiction and can be just as deadly as such which (just like a recovering alcoholic doesn't frequent bars or liquor stores) is why as part of my recovery I have promised myself and others that I will not visit feed stores where I may be tempted to purchase my preferred item of self destructionThe good news is that the nearest tractor supply store is in Delta or Richfield which means I have quite a drive and can easily talk myself out of it or call a friend and have them talk me out of it and the one feed store in Fillmore is full of friendly faces who know my family and i feel like I'd be betraying them if I purchased said item from a friend, like they would blame themselves for selling it to me if they did, plus chances are they would ask my mom (a nurse) what they had planned for it the next time they saw her making her fully aware I have immediate access to one and all my plans would be foiled as she ransacked my house until they were all accounted for--you know, being a good momBeing in Fillmore and knowing I can't just pop on down the road to purchase items I could harm myself with has really helped in my recovery even though they probably have absolutely NO IDEA the role they play in my recovery and that makes it that much more specialThey also are very knowledgeable and know the answer to everything I've ever asked them”

“I have two expressionless selfies at this maverick from this year, both of them with the same hoodie, both times I bought a Baja Blast, and both times because my school bus stopped here on a long field trip”

“This loves is great because it’s never busy and has clean showers, bathrooms and they also have laundry. The only con is the speedco on sight- came in at 2 pm for an APU maintenance and after getting the approval to get work done I’m again sitting and waiting. It’s nearly 6 pm and no one has pulled me in to the bay, I’ve been parked outside of it. They took another truck in but I was here first, there’s been no communication since the guy told me they can do my APU maintenance after he checked to see if they have the filters in stock. So be warned, this place is super slow and apparently don’t communicate.”

“The older lady attendant / cashier was so welcoming and was on the ball and even told me of free stuff they were doing that day. Give her a raise! Also love the food. Great quick stop down to St. George or up to SLC”
