“Highly recommend Rugged Rental! We needed a 4 wheel drive vehicle to drive through cottonwood canyon for our ski trip. From start to finish Rugged Rental really pulled through for us. The reservation request was easy to submit online and we received a confirmed rental email within 24 hours. The shuttle service was prompt. Service at the rental facility was also prompt. We were able to add a second driver without issue. There were no long waits or complicated contracts like you find with the larger rental car companies. We rented a Suburban and the 4WD was great for what we needed. The car was clean and felt almost brand new! Would undoubtedly rent with this company on another trip.”

“At a very busy airport, the Enterprise staff did a great job of getting us our luxury SUV quickly. We even got surprised with an upgraded SUV at not extra cost, a Ford Expedition! The car rode great on the highways and when the wheels started spinning in the snow I was able to easily put it into 4A (4x4 mode) and get out! I will rent from Enterpise again!”

“I had a really great experience renting with Alamo last weekend. My flight got in 30 min. late and I didn't get to the rental car counter until 1am. I was worried the desk would be closed since it looked like all counters were closed, but luckily Alamo/National had plenty of employees that were still in their offices and they rushed out to help my friend and I when they saw us walk up to the counter. We had a reservation, so it was really speedy to get our paperwork and get down to grab the car.When we went down the escalator to get our car, Spencer was waiting for us with a big smile. He was honestly such a pleasure to work with all evening and upon our return a couple days later too. He checked our papers, grabbed our keys, and walked to our car with us. When it was time to leave the garage with the car, every single gate was closed so no one could leave. Thankfully, Spencer was still around so he was able to unlock the gate to let us leave. He wore many hats that evening!The car was great, we had no issues with it, and it was super easy to return. It was really busy and packed when we returned Sunday evening, but we were happily greeted by Spencer again. Because he was so quick and efficient, we were able to drop off the car in record time without any hassle.All the employees here were really friendly and helpful, I recommend renting from Alamo in SLC.”

“Absolutely amazing experience. Had some body work done and 11 months later it peeled. Chad took care of it, no sweat. Picked it up and it had to be jumped, drove down the street to get groceries and came out to leave, car was completely dead again. Chad sent his guy to jump us again and stayed in contact making absolute share we were good after driving for another 30 minutes..... I can't think of another shop in the valley that would be this good to it's customers!”

“Booked a very last minute five-night trip out to the Arches (stopping at the Albion Basin on the way). Communication was clear and quick, and booking the van was straightforward. We rented baby blue, which was equipped with the basics, nothing fancy, which is just what we needed. Matt was extremely helpful with getting us setup for our trip, our first in the country. We stayed at some BLM campsites along the Colorado river as Matt suggested, as well as some paid campsites when we needed showers. Water storage, cooking kit, fridge were great. When it was hot at night we cracked the back door open and had the fan running. Thanks for the top notch service, Matt!”

“I love National. Always provide quick and efficient service with their Emerald Aisle. When I arrived, there was a person there to help me with my first time experience of choosing a vehicle. He mentioned that he was low on cars but guided me to the options available. Thankfully they had what I wanted. As I was checking out, I had forgotten to update my ID on their website, but the lady was kind enough to remind me and still accept my new ID and get me all checked out smooth and easy. Will be using National Rental as long as I can.”

“I typically rent a car from Hertz but given the daily rent offered online I though I would look around for a better deal. I found Affordable Rent A Car who was close to half the cost. I tend to be very skeptical on deals that look too good to be true. I was blown away how easy and customer friendly the staff was. I didn't have to wait for the shuttle from the airport. They were at the curb waiting for me and my family. Checking out took no time at all. The car we rented was very nice, clean and ran great. Returning the car was just as easy. We didn't have to move our bags. Someone from the rental company drove us in the same car to the airport. On top of that my son left his phone in the car and didn't realize right away. We called and they drove his phone back to the airport for us. Five Stars is not a high enough rating. Affordable Rent a Car is the only place I will rent from when visiting Salt Lake City. Thank you for providing great service. I love the fact you are a locally owned company as well.”

“Affordable rental car was by far the easiest rental car agency out there. They were quick to pick up and drop off. They were the most affordable place to rent a car. They even called us more than once to make sure we had a ride to the location since we were flying in and rented from the state street location. The workers were so down to earth and nice. We had one little issue with the car too and they did a great job at resolving the issue. We will definitely be renting from them when we go to SLC! If you want to save a headache you should too.”

“This is a bare bones restaurants with great food. Very casual, strip mall type setting. Tables and chairs like the social hall at church, but the food rocks. The place was packed on Friday night. We had Goyoza, split between 3 people. The flavor and texture of these pork filled dumplings was outstanding, with a great sauce, but they could have been served hotter. For the entree, we had Karai ramen. This is a wonderful dish. Noodles were perfectly done, and the ground pork is delightfully spicy and tender. The mushroom and egg are the perfect addition to this wonderful dish. You can't go wrong with the choice. I highly recommend the place and would love to go back.”

And when I called to extend the rental the guy I talked to was able to do it completely over the phone. The two people who helped me in person were Kyra and Corrine. Both were very nice and helpful. “I am so grateful for Glen and the thoroughness he and Stephanie extended to my daughter and I the entire experience. She was hit and needed a rental, but was unable to qualify because she is 18.Glen helped with creative solutions to make it happen.. I ended up renting the vehicle and my daughter used mine. He made sure I was aware of things I was signing and made sure we had insurance off the lot.I ended up in a minor fender bender during the rental, and was working on it with my insurance company a week prior to drop-off.When I came to bring it in and parked, an employee named Nick was just getting into his car behind me and super rud. He angrily told me they were closed (I was dropping the keys off after-hour). I told him I could bring back the keys tomorrow then instead of dropping them off if he wanted, but when he saw the minor damage (already being handled) he freaked out and didn't even ask if we were okay.Luckily, he took us in to Glen, to tattle I assume, like "now this is your problem," and Glen took care of us once again. Cool, calm, collected, customer service always, Glen.Thanks man for not making me feel like a criminal and making sure to ask if we were okay! It's been demanding with the dynamics of The Body Shop delays and parts availability and they have taken my car back when I was done and had another ready when I needed it. They are freaking rock stars.When my car had a check engine light come on, yesterday, he said "bring it in we'll get you swapped." I was in-and-out in under 5 minutes.Allen is awesome. I had accepted the insurance adjusters decision to provide a small rental vehicle while my premium Avalon was being repaired for the next 2-3 weeks. The insurance company had accepted liability for an accident leaving me without transportation. I really could care less what I drive, except that my parents (90yr old/86yr old) live with me and I am their transportation. Getting into a small car for them is difficult. Kevin called the insurance company and got a full-sized car (still seems small compared the the luxury of an Avalon) BUT, wow, can't believe the initiative taken to make a difference for my elderly parents.
