Had one of our animals cremated and they called to let us know he was ready to be picked up. When I arrived they had presented him in an adorable bag with paw print paper and it was ana amazing feeling to know they went above and beyond. It definitely helped with the transition and processing of losing a small family member. Amazing customer service and compassion.

I love these guys as vets, but am completely disgusted with their business practice when it comes to prescriptions. I've taken my animals to them for years as a local until one of our dogs got cancer and we started taking them to a specialist down in the valley. After the pet with cancer passed, we wanted to start bringing the other, who has thyroid issues, back up to River Valley. The other hospital was great too, my daughter works there, but just far, so we called and made an appointment specifically so that we didn't have to take him down just to get a thyroid test and a new prescription to call into Chewy (very cost effective for his meds). They took my money and did the test but when it came time to ask for the written prescription, they informed us that they charge $45 for it. The other option was to purchase the prescription from them at 3x the cost. So the basically want to make sure they are going to make a profit on the meds they prescribe one way or another. I called around and this is not a normal practice for other vets and I feel is very dishonest. They've just lost a long time customer over $45/year. Sad.

Fast efficient, friendly and vast experience prompt me to make the hour drive for each of our pets for all veterinary needs. The forthright and honest approach they provide to veterinary medicine is refreshing and greatly appreciated. I have witnessed true caring and concern with the entire team. Marion, the owner and father in this practice explained that they actually prefer to have owners present during procedures, to properly involve the owner in understanding through the procedure while maintaining the highest degree of comfort for your pet. In addition, I have never been to a veterinary hospital before and seen the veterinary doctor personally carry a pet to the vehicle for the owner.I am so very grateful to Marion, Jessica and the entire team.

Just call to see if they can help me out, its not only they were all booked, also didnt even gave me any schedule because of new client, they didn't even tell me they prices because of new client. I understand you're busy you're all booked. But I do not understand that you are not booking far out or even telling me the prices in the future you can be my veterinarian. Might need more customer service training?I will never dial your number or stop by at your location ever and I would let people know that never use you because you don't need new customer.

They are the ONLY vet I trust. They give the best care without trying to pray on emotion of a pet owner. I love that they can take care of my farm animals as well!
