About Intermountain Health Intermountain Medical Center
Intermountain Medical Center (IMC) is a facility that provides a range of medical services, including surgery, emergency care, and infusion treatments. Many reviews highlight the outstanding care from nurses and caregivers, particularly on the transplant floor and in the ER. Patients have expressed confidence in the staff, noting that they felt comfortable and well cared for during their stays. The food is generally regarded as good, and some patients appreciated the attentiveness of nurses during procedures, such as blood transfusions, where comfort was prioritized. However, experiences can vary. While the majority of reviews are positive, some patients reported issues with wait times in the emergency room, especially during busy periods, where staff felt overwhelmed. Despite this, the overall sentiment is one of gratitude toward the medical team for their dedication and support during difficult times. Parking can be a challenge, but the compassionate care provided by the staff often makes up for these inconveniences. Overall, IMC is recommended for those seeking medical treatment, especially for specialized care like transplants and infusions.
Christian Neff who is apparently a supervising ER doctor has the absolute worst bedside manner and will walk out on his patients if they say something that offends him, even if it’s not directed to him! Says he cares but then walks out. The nurses were AMAZING though.

This is the best hospital I've been to in salt lake, by far.

My surgery went well and all of the nurses and doctors were so nice and thorough. I was very surprised for Intermountain. Even the liaison checked in twice to make sure we had a good experience!
