Received excellent service at the Charles Schwab office in Pleasant Grove, UT with transfering a paper share certificate into my online account. Gus knew just how to handle this somewhat unusual transaction, and everything went smoothly. I also think the Schwab online and app account systems are top-notch. Highly recommend.

The absolute worst financial company I have EVER worked with! Everything about their company makes it difficult for customers! From their horrific non-user friendly website to their stupid phone tree protocols to their immoral social initiatives! Terrible, terrible, terrible company.

I worked with Kohler, he was knowledgeable and professional but I still felt like we were friends by the end of our meeting. The office is clean, and Josh (the other consultant in there) is so friendly. They seem like they’re passionate about what they do and genuinely enjoy their work. I’ll definitely keep Kohler as a lifelong financial consultant

Made an appointment over the phone asked for an experienced broker. My husband and i went in for our appointment and the first set back was he did not know our names never reChed out to shake my husbands hand back left him standing feeling disrespected. Had no knowledge to the questions we wanted more information on. Fidelity is 10 fold more professional.i do not recomend at all to anyone looking to get more than what u would get using webul or robinhood.

Where to begin! My experience with Charles Schwab has been short lived, but also incredibly frustrating and even scary. I opened my account to simply use while I traveled through Morocco, since I heard that they are excellent for international travel (no fees). I deposited around $900 into my Charles Schwab account, placed a travel notice on my account (this is important) and set off on my trip. Once I was in Morocco, I was able to make one withdrawal from an ATM. After that, my card would no longer work! I had no access to my cash. I attempted to login online but was given a notice that said my account had been locked. At this point, I had idea what to do. Luckily I'd brought my debit card from Wells Fargo as backup and was able to use that, but because my trip money was locked in my Charles Schwab account, I overdrafted in WF and it was all just a mess to deal with while trying to enjoy vacation.NOW onto the real maddening part -- I called Charles Schwab for help. I was on the phone for an HOUR, during vacation time, and even asked to be transferred to a hire up. I verified all my information, even down to the balance of my account, and was still treated like a criminal. They said that Charles Schwab had made the business decision to close my account and could not disclose why. They said I was under investigation and that I may or may not receive my money back, depending on the outcome of the investigation. How scary is that?! That even after verifying all of my info and placing a travel notice on my account, it was a definite possibility that I would not get my money back? And that they had closed my account?After getting back to the States, they explained that it was all an error and the hold on my account was released. They've already lost my trust! Too late. Would not work with them again and would recommend being cautious! I did all the right things and still this happened. I was treated seriously like a criminal and by the guy who had been working there for 30 years. They refused to answer any of my questions and gave me no reason for the investigation. Completely unacceptable.

I recently opened multiple accounts with Charles Schwab after conducting a through search for a financial advisor who could continue help me successfully plan for and navigate into my retirement years (which is just a few years away) and assist with my financial needs and and goals.My search lead me to MANY who seemed willing and claimed they were able, but for one reason or another I just didn't feel comfortable making the transition. After receiving some advice from a trusted friend, I reached out to Charles Schwab (corporate) who reviewed their services and offerings. They caught my attention with multiple investment options ranging from self directed to managed services. They introduced me to their tools and research assistance that my friend highly touted in our previous conversations. Then they introduced me to the folks at the Pleasant Grove Branch, who sealed the deal with their personal touch.and advice. The process for opening accounts was straight forward, and the transition from my previous financial institution went smoothly. What blew me away was the personal attention I have received from Kohler and Josh. They are friendly, as well as willing and able to answer my NUMEROUS questions and best of all the services which I was receiving were FREE!I am a month into the transition after taking MANY months to decide and I haven't been disappointed. While I have chosen to take a self directed approach, I am considering some of Schwab's managed services. So far they have earned my trust and confidence.

It is so nice having a physical branch to visit. I've had a hard time trying to transfer my 401K by myself for months now, so I went to this branch and they were able to sort it out within a few minutes!While meeting with Josh, he gave me great advice on a few investment strategies that were much easier to understand in person. It's nice not having to try and figure out everything online. When I have questions or need help, I will make sure to always visit this branch.Josh and Kohler are helpful, intelligent, competent, and kind!
