I was very disappointed to see a trade from affordable pricing on food to a wannabe look-alike to harmons. As well as harmons pricing.
Your store is no longer holds a place in my mind as a place I can go for affordable food.
I came to purchase chicken garlic bread and other items. Unfortunately what I found was a chicken bread and other food that were at least double the price of Walmart. And I don't like to shop at Walmart.... If they have what I need for half the price unfortunately that's where I have to go.

Warning: If you have a disability due to a chronic condition, do not fill here! One of the pharmacists may openly shame you if they don't understand why your dosage is being prescribed, or don't agree with your physician.
I had been using this pharmacy for a little while, ever since I moved here, with no issues and most of the staff is very nice. But I recently had a very frustrating experience and I will now be taking my business elsewhere.
I have a very important medication that I need to fill periodically, so that I am able to walk during my flare-ups. I have never had a problem filling it with my previous pharmacy. However, when I tried to fill it with this pharmacy for the first time, they told me they were not going to fill it until they get the dose approved by the physician. Ultimately, my physician and I were very upset by the delay because my symptoms were very severe at this point and I was forced back into my wheelchair, which we were trying to prevent. This whole process needlesly delayed the dispensing of my important medication by 4 days, which was very frustrating. To their credit, they did attempt to follow up with my doctor both Thursday and Friday, but they kept missing him, because he was not in-office. This medication is extremely important for me to function normally while I'm in a severe flare, and my physician and I didn't anticipate this problem because something like this had never happened before; but, I tried to be as patient as I could through the weekend because I knew those things were outside of their control.
I ended up finally getting my medication on the following Monday. I was planning on letting the whole thing go at this point, especially considering that this drug is now more regulated than it used to be, so I understood their concern with the dosage and amount, despite the obvious frustration the delay had caused us.
However, what has now really upset me is the passive-aggressive attitude I received on my next visit. The disappointed tone from the pharmacist, "Oh, it's YOU..." the next time I came in. Then he asked me, in a mocking tone, if I needed to refill the medication already. When I replied, "No", he proceeded to inappropriately ask me, mockingly, if I ACTUALLY NEEDED the dosage that was dispensed. It was appauling that someone would talk to anyone this way. All of my physicians are aware that I periodically take this medication, up to this high of dosage, as I need it; my neurologist, my cardiologist, and my primary care all endorse it, because they all understand the severity of my condition and this pharmacist obviously cannot, and does not, understand. It is extremely important for me to be able to stay out of a wheelchair.
It is frustrating that someone could think they know more about my needs than my own physicians. It's obvious to me that his attitude was an attempt at a mockery of the competence of my entire care team, which consists of several physicians; I did not appreciate this, because I have great respect for all of my incredible physicians. Collectively, they got me out of a wheelchair and up on my feet again.
This pharmacy really needs to learn some lessons on how to appropriately interact with chronically ill, disabled patients. I understand if the pharmacists feel like they need to double check a dosage, just to be safe, that's fine, albeit frustrating when you're suffering, or your care is being compromised. But, after the physician confirms the dose, and tells you to fill it, why would you proceed to belittle the patient over the dose, simply because you don't agree with her physician? This behavior is highly inappropriate. My physician and I had every right to be upset, and voice our concerns, because YOUR delay was COMPROMISING my care. Then you proceeded to punish me for being upset, and voicing my valid concerns? I found the belittling attitude I received, due to my dosage,

Very helpful. Not a big line. Or maybe I came at the right time to miss all that.

I went in to the pharmacy to ask for a strep test. The pharmacist told me that because I only had one swollen lymph node, I was at risk for an abscess in my tonsil. I don’t have tonsils. Then he said because I am an adult, my body will fight off strep on its own. False. And he ultimately told me that because I didn’t have a fever, he would not test me for strep. What he didn’t know is that I am in school to become a nurse practitioner. I went to my Dr office and I tested positive. If I didn’t go on antibiotics I would be at higher risk of spreading strep to others and at risk for rheumatic fever. I’m very disappointed with the Macey’s pharmacist. Educate yourself about strep please.

Clean, organized, and well stocked. They have a great variety of Utah brands as well. I wish they had a fresh meat and seafood counter like other stores. They carry brands that other stores do not which I like!

The pharmacy is the main reason I shop here; they are all so awesome and genuinely care. The AFCU is also really convenient with nice folks. The store staff's customer care is terrible. They cut me off as they walk past in the aisle, as if i am in their way, and they never ask if they can help me find anything. The register folks are OK but the one lady who covers the self checkout most day shifts is just awful. I hear her say have a good day to others leaving self checkout as I walk into the area, but the moment I step up to a register, she goes frigid and watches my hands with a cold stare as I scan every single item and pay. When I start to leave she looks away hard and fast without a single word. This is every time I use self checkout. I have even tried going to the register right next to her podium to show I've nothing to hide but still get the judging dead-eye stare until I'm done and then the cold ignoring brush off.I shop here all the time, more than any of the other places at which I shop combined, and I really don't appreciate being treated this way. But I guess it is because I wear a black durag. So that automatically makes me a damn dirty thief not worthy of the customer care I pay for with my hard earned money.

This Macey's bakery definitely needs some improvement. The donut selection is extremely limited. No cherry cake, no chocolate devil's food. They ones we bought tasted stale. Pass on this bakery.

There's not a very large variety of items to choose from. All of the products I've gotten here have been good though. The employees are kind and it makes it a better shopping experience.

I cannot recommend this Macey’s location enough.I have visited this lovely local grocery store likely more than 100 times throughout my life. I frequented it when I was younger for the yummy Kong Kones (big ice cream cones) and went countless other times with family, friends, and solo for grocery shopping. I loved my experience every time. Workers have been friendly each visit. The store is clean and gives off enjoyable, local vibes. It is closed on Sunday which is a bummer, but great hours otherwise. I would recommend grocery shopping here to anybody that asked me about it and anybody in the area.

I actually don't grocery shop here all that much... My rating is almost solely based on the ice cream! Macey's ice cream is so underrated! The cones are nice and big and very affordable! They are so creamy as well, none of that grainy texture. Best place for your ice cream pick me up!!!
