“I brought my truck to wrenches. Because of a problem I was having with a brand new throttlebody that I installed. I was having trouble linking the two together. They were able to diagnose the problem within seconds spent about 45 minutes fixing it got it connected be at their computer OBD2 diagnostic machine. Give me a call and only charge me the minimal fee for the work done. Any other place would’ve charged me an arm or leg. “Want to talk to someone that really knows tires? Ean at the Orem location is a tire Expert! So grateful we stopped by and talked with him prior to ordering another set of Heavy Duty tires for our Dump Trailer. Ean showed us all the options and suggested a much better tire than we typically buy, for about the same price. NOTE: Ean could have gotten us the standard trailer tires for $15 less (each) than we typically pay. He showed us all the options and suggested a VERY heavy Duty tire (we're in construction and we really beat this trailer up) for about $30 more than the cheap tires we usually buy. These are such a better tire! So grateful we had his expertise and received all the options. He really took the time and went through pro's and con's of each brand to help us settle on which ones would be best for our use... Their prices were better than the competitors (on every option we looked at). THANKS EAN!”

“I tried to open a Toyota Camry and the key snapped in half! Willy's was able to come the same day I asked and replace the key, and it only cost $85, which was pretty good. (It would have been more if they had to unlock the car, but luckily the fob still worked). They even drove out to my home in Provo free of charge to do the job. Very quality and fast service, highly recommend!”

“Valley transmission was the first place that could give me insight into my hybrid vehicle's transmission. Having a test drive before doing any work to just get an idea of what's going on saved me so much time and money that other places were going to charge me. I definitely trust my vehicles are in knowledgeable hands at Valley's. I didn't have work done on our hybrid but it didn't need it. Again the insights of what was going on in my vehicle was super helpful so I could make a more informed decision. And I will return to valley for transmission help as needed in the future.”

I visited Boss Automotive based on the strong Google reviews, and this was my second time bringing a vehicle here. The first time, I came in with a few issues the dealership had quoted me significantly more to fix about 30% higher, so I decided to give Boss a try. They handled the repairs for a fair price, and overall, my experience has been a solid 4/5.
I understand it’s a mechanic shop and things naturally get dirty, but I’ll be honest: if it weren’t for the reviews, I’m not sure I would have initially left my car. A dedicated day of cleaning up the lot, refreshing the exterior, and tidying both the shop area and the lobby would go a long way toward boosting customer confidence. The quality of work is there, the presentation just doesn’t reflect it yet.
After having some work done at the dealership recently, I was told that one of the repairs Boss previously handled wasn’t functioning correctly. I called Boss, and even though I was a bit elevated in the conversation, they owned it completely. They warranted the repair without hesitation, and the part had genuinely failed. I don’t fault them for that, parts fail sometimes. What I do appreciate is that they stepped up and took care of it, especially considering it’s a full day’s job to reach that part. I even had them perform additional work while the car was there.
My reason for the 4/5 rating comes down to the facility’s appearance and the owner’s rougher communication style. Dennis ultimately made things right, and we ended on a positive note. A little refinement in customer interaction and some cleanup around the shop would elevate this place from good to truly great.
Overall, they do honest work at a fair price, and with just a few adjustments, Boss Automotive could easily become a next-level shop.”
“Got new tires on my car first thing in the morning. Unusual/uneven wear brought about a recommendation for alignment. I had read a recent Facebook thread in which Ricky's name was mentioned half a dozen times as "THE" mechanic to use. Driving away from the tire shop I called Ricky and explained the situation and asked if there was any way he could work me in since I had the day off. Ricky said, "Come over right now and I'll squeeze you in". I was so grateful I wouldn't have to take another day off work. Ricky was so genuine, honest, quoted a more-than-fair price and promised to get me out and back on the road, which he did. Best mechanical services and best customer service. I've already referred a friend to Ricky! 10/10 recommend!!”
“They were able to help diagnose and fix a problem with my Subaru, and when we found a secondary issue they were willing to work with me and got the issue solved same day and went out of their way to clean my battery terminals that had corrosion. And they noticed my radiator hose was worn and would have likely failed soon had it not been replaced. The people at Japanese Auto Repair are honest and caring people. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with car problems.”

“Honestly we have been completely impressed by the owner Jeff and his team, our car was a particularly cursed job and they have been amazing throughout all of the trouble. I broke down in front of their shop in May right as they were closing for the day and they helped me push my car in from the road and worked really hard to find a fix. The work they did was amazing, but sadly the car had another issue months later because of a deeper problem and they honored their warranty really well and helped us find a solution. They have been great from start to finish and I trust their expertise and also their business practices that they are honest and overall have done great work in even the worst of circumstances. I would really recommend them and hopefully the next car we bring in isn’t such a lemon to work on because I would trust them with any car because of all they did for our complex car situation.”
