“Uptown Cheapskate in American Fork is clean, friendly, and full of great finds! The staff is kind, professional, and super helpful. Excellent service and quality clothes at amazing prices. Love this place!”
“Props to the staff for putting up with the customers that bring 10 bags of clothes in just before closing time. They’re super nice about it and get things done quick as possible. No stars for the customers who do that. Shame on you people.”
“Beautiful store and you can tell it is maintained with love. Very nice items to choose from. Staff was super friendly. One of the nicest thrift stores I have ever been to.”
“Great shopping trip with my son. Found just what we were hoping to find and in amazing condition. Sabrina helped us out and gave great suggestions. She was super friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back!”
“This is such a cute store! People rent booths by the weeks so things are constantly changing! The prices are fair or inexpensive! I love that most booths will give some sort of discount mostly on Thursdays and Fridays because booths switch out on Saturday. It’s like curated thrifting with thrift prices!”
“I love Deseret Industries. They hire people from all different backgrounds and help get them back on their feet. The employees are usually always friendly and helpful. Also the selection is HUGE. There are so many options. The DI has one of the best pricing models compared to all the thrift stores in Utah. Jeans are usually $6 or $8. I often find jeans that are just $6. Whereas at Goodwill jeans are $7.99 for womens and $9.99 for men's. And Savers Jeans are $8.99+. I go to this DI location often because it's close to my house and it never disappoints. Their Glassware and figurines are priced very reasonable and again the selection is vast. They occasionally mark up particular brands which is annoying so I hope they stop doing that. You can find everything that you need here though and it's a fun place to search for treasures!”
“I wandered into Goodwill the other day, and wow…what a place. It’s like a museum curated by a slightly chaotic grandma who collected everything from the 70s to yesterday. There were aisles of random stuff—some old, some weird, some that made me go, “Wait…did I really own one of these?”
I found a few things that made me nostalgic, and for a second I thought, “Yeah, I’ll take it all home!” But then I remembered reality: my house is not a storage unit, and I do not need a ceramic cat wearing a bow tie staring at me while I sleep. Still, I made a few videos about the unique finds, laughed at the quirky stuff, and felt that strange mix of joy and confusion that only Goodwill can deliver. Honestly, it’s emotional—because memories!—and hilarious—because, seriously, who buys this stuff?”
“I’ve gone to many goodwill stores, this is one by far has the best selections. The current supervisor at the store is attentive and friendly, I think her name was Emily.. she as super kind and friendly. The staff there are also super kind. Definitely my go to for a good thrift find! ??”
“Yearly tradition is to go on my birthday to all the savers in the valley. This has to be one of my favorite ones as their jewelry selection is always huge. Never disappoint and always a fun day.”
“Watch out for the regulars who are only there to grab, go, and resell. The way they race and push when a cart comes to the floor is hilarious and pitiful at the same time. It's cheaper than a movie to go and watch. Especially right when they open, the people actually wait in line and hold teir spot. When the doors open its a mass race to the back of the store. The employeees actually line up carts inside the store, so the people can grab and go.”
“Pricing is all over the board, with no consistency at all. I've seen 4 bucks per for dinner plates that should be no more than a buck. But then I got an 80 dollar set of tire chains for $8. Brand new, never been used. Idk, doesn't make sense”

“Femboy friendly. I found the yellow and purple I was looking for. There are no fitting rooms. Another shopper complimented me on my yellow and purple outfit. There are mirrors to use, but I think a few more would be beneficial. Well organized with sections for different types of clothes.”
“You just don't know what you will find at DI. I like thrifting, and sometimes you can find used things that are in good condition. I appreciate those who donate to the store so I can buy things at a discount.”
