“I purchased a 40 volt Ryobi weed whacker. The twine broke off and I had to take apart the head to access the broken off twine. I could not lock the head back on. I took it to the tool rental and a gentleman helped me lock it back in. I have rented equipment in the past and always excellent service. 5 star service.”
“It's Home Depot! I like to build my shopping list in the app and use it to help me find the things I need in store. You can also avoid the problem of looking for out of stock things because the app will show the inventory at your store of choice. Every interaction I have had with their employees has been pleasant. Getting help finding stuff is hit or miss some times. If you need help getting something heavy off a shelf or into your truck they have always been available to help.”

“I had a very complicated order of 14 gallons of paint today, all different colors, and not all the bases we had planned on were available. The paint department did an outstanding job assisting me with this order and had everything done in about half an hour once the order was submitted, even with the unexpected changes. During checkout, the associate overseeing the self checkouts, Callie, was SO helpful. She went above and beyond in helping me process the order. When I had a question she did not have the information to answer, she made a point to track it down for me and saved me a lot of money. She was kind and friendly throughout the process, an excellent example of customer service.

“Sam was the best!! His knowledge and personal skills were the best. I was purchasing a roller for a outside painting project. After selecting the happy-purple-colored one, I had another question that wasn't in his department. He knew the answer and pointed me into the right direction.
BTW. His suggestion was spot-on. Best roller I've ever used!”
“Matt and Jess were phenomenal. I came in to warranty a water heater. Jess was able to help me find out that it was in fact still under warranty. I went home and tore it out and came back. “I just have to say how awesome Blake in the scissor lift delivery department is! Seriously so helpful and willing to go the extra mile. We’re painting a mural for Young Powersports of Layton and our team has taken an aerial lift certification course, but we haven’t had the hands on experience with one yet. When I reserved it the lady told me she can’t guarantee the delivery guy will show me how to operate it, but I could ask. Blake called to tell me he was on his way (exactly on time within the expected delivery window) and I asked if he’d mind taking 2 minutes to show me how to operate it. When he got there, he went over absolutely everything from troubleshooting to safety stops to confirming the safety gear we’ll need and so much more. I couldn’t have asked for a better orientation for how to safely work a 25’ scissor lift, and I took a 2 hour class already! If he didn’t take that extra time to help, I’d have to sit and read the manual or watch YouTube videos to feel totally confident. I really appreciated Blake’s extra time to help (in full sun at 3pm) and our project is going to go so much smoother now! Can a manager give that guy kudos for being a knowledgeable, hard-working, and helpful employee that makes Home Depot look good please?”

“I had an issue with item delivered. Received amazing customer service all around. From person at phone center, to store manager and costumer service at location. They were all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I'm not a huge fan of box stores, but with home renovations, you kind of gotta.
I will shop this location again, purely for their great staff.”
“Will Home Depot this is the store I go to before any they usually have what I need I've had no problems with the people asking questions finding what I needed I just wish they had one closer to me I would trade it for my Lowe's work any day and if you need some check it out online their online seems to work really well what's in stock or find out you know they can order it and ship it to you or pick it up there”
“I went to Home Depot in Riverdale yesterday and I wanted to thank Amy at the return desk. I need a mobile scooter to get around the store . She went out of her way to track one down for me. I'm not sure if it was Aaron that delivered it to me. These are two very fine young people who helped me with smiles .”
“Perhaps it's just me, but I feel like this store is a little less pushy than other Best Buys tend to be. They are still friendly and want to make sure we're taken care of - but didn't hound or hover so much that it made us uncomfortable (things I've dealt with in the past for Best Buy).
They also had some reasonable prices at least for the items I was there to get while comparing to Amazon, so we're very happy with our experience and will continue to go to this store.”
