While the service was good while we had it, when it was decided it was time to move on to another provider DISH became a terrible company to work with. We were customer's for over 7 years. Then they raised our rates, we requested they honor the rates they were offering new clients, to which they refused on multiple occasions. Following three months of requesting from them to honor the pricing they were offering new customers, we made the change to a different provider. When we called to cancel the services (that are out of contract) it took 50 minutes just to get to speak with someone. Then it took another 45 minutes on the call with two separate customer service reps to get the service canceled, as they tried to claim we are still in contract. They also then had the audacity to try and charge us to return their equipment. I offered to drive to their local office, to be rid of them and their toon changed. Unfortunately, I now deter anyone that asks me about trying out DISH as a result of their tactics.

They are great when you are a subscriber, but when you decide to cut the cord they all of a sudden become the worst company to return your device to and to get them to stop charging you for service you never received. I called 3 days into the next billing cycle to cancel.They told they'd send me a box to return my device, no box arrived. I called again same story they'll get me a box delivered, and again no shipping box arrived, I called a total of 4 times to get a box to send my equipment back.On the 4 th time I said is there a way you cand send me via email a shipping label?Yes the sent it I bought a box and paid 7.49 cent to ship via UPS they got it then tried to charge me for non return of equipment thank God I screenshot a picture of the UPS delivery to dish in Texas.

The absolute worst service in all of Corporate America. I had my roof replaced with new shingles and made 2 appointments to reconnect my Dish and had no shows for both appointments. I was on the phone with Dish for over 2 hours over both days, had to talk with people in the Philippines (2 or 3 times), the Dominican Republic, and Phoenix, AZ. I am beyond frustrated. I have two accounts with Dish (one in Oregon and one in Utah) and I pay them more than $3,300 a year just for service. They charged my Visa Card for the reconnection ($50 in addition to my monthly service fees and I have still not heard anything from them. I can't do this any longer... I will be switching to Direct TV this week. I am done with Dish now and forever. If you or a friend are looking to establish television connectivity through a Dish I would seriously suggest that you do not hook up with Dish... I guarantee you that you will be sorry.

cancelled my service and they went and billed me for the next month and won't refund the full amount. horrible customer service rep who kept cutting me off and just kept reading from his script. save your money and go with the new streaming services. way less expensive and no sneaky hidden charges that Dish is infamous for.

Dish billed us for the most expensive package after they were hacked. They kept telling me they would refund me. They never did and continued to charge me after I canceled my account. They are as bad as Xfinity if not worse. Go with Direct. Screw dish! My account was supposed to be on the $5 a month suspension. They say they can’t do anything because I have a “closed account”. Avoid at all costs!

Trash customer service paid my bill about a week and a half before it was due and they shut off my service claiming a payment was never made even after I gave them confirmation numbers of my payment and waiting about 1-2 hours before my call was even answered wouldn't recommend dish to anybody.

I would give them '0' if I could. I switched to them 2 years ago because I was frustrated with Direct TV raising my bill. I was satisfied until last month they sent a notice they were raising my bill by $20.00 per month. You have to wait on hold for an hour or more. Talked with three different people three different times before the representative said "I will help get you a better price." She said she could get it down almost $15 per month for a year with an $18 discount the first month. I had to sign a year year contract. Hesitantly, I said "ok". A week later, I received an electronic message for my bill which was over $10 higher than the previous notice and now $30 higher than my previous bill. I tried their online chat, which was totally frustrating. That representative said they had changed how they did their billing and had added a fee for local channels which had not been there before. Now I will call again and argue with the service rep in person. This has been ongoing for the last month. Susan S.

Dish Network gets zero stars from me because on Friday morning in the middle of the night somebody had messed with my dish outside my house. I called at 8:00 a.m. to get someone to come and fix my dish and I was on hold for over 2 hours I put in for them to call me back nobody called me back for 3 hours then I called back and they said I would get a call back within an hour and a half and again I waited for three and a half hours and nobody called back. I tried calling in the middle of the evening they said that my wait time would be 902 minutes, then I called back again and they said that it would be $1,055 minutes I don't understand how this company can have any business at all when they don't know how to get people to answer the phone or call back. I finally reached somebody today and she told me that it's going to be 24 to 48 hours before they could get a technician out here to fix our television. Worse service ever!! Now if I don't hear from somebody by tomorrow at 2:00 in the afternoon I will disconnect the service myself and I will figure out how to get service with my television.

My mother died on November 9 , dlsh was notified that we were going to need to cancel the service .It is now February and I am still dealing with them . Last week I thought I was done , they mailed me a box to ship their equipment back , it did not contain a return shipping label . Their solution was to send me a new box to the house I am moving from today and inconvenience the homes new owner . For me this is just the final slap in the face from a company that tried initially to charge my dead mother for cancelling her subscription early .

I was promised a gift card signing up with dish I never got it and was told by one of the supervisor that you are not going to give it to me his name was Ryan if you guys promise a gift card for signing up with you guys then you should give it not lie to your customers I do not recommend anyone to trust them they lie and cheat and steal money.

6 year LOYAL dish customer. My 2 year contract was up, they've always given me new customer pricing but I guess my loyalty didn't pay off. They don't care about long time customers. They only care about new ones. I guess ZERO money is better than $80 a month huh dish? It's OK, I just signed up for HULU live and will NEVER GO BACK TO YOU!

I dont know which location. Got info from an ad on gmail with special offers for Veterans. Be aware of misrepresentations from the salespeople. The salesman I spoke with lied to me. I am getting no help or responce from cust svc or promotions. Have actyally been hung up on twice, and no Dish installation either. (Not for any fault of the technician, he was great, out of his hands)

Shut off after 2 months of service because their bill was due in between pay checks. I don't suggest these people to anyone.
