“I stayed here with some friends to celebrate my birthday and the staff made me feel so special (shout to Kassandra and Mandy!). When I arrived my room was stunning and they had left me a birthday treat. The hotel is gorgeous and I highly recommend staying with them. I loved the unique atmosphere.”

“The rooms are absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches. Each room is unique, with its own name, layout, and character. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-kept. The location is perfect, tucked away in a historic neighborhood while still being close to things you’d want to see or do in the area. The service was phenomenal. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and welcoming. They made us feel like valued guests. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The Inn itself is also full of history.”
“First time we've stayed here but heard about the quality of service for years and have always heard good things about it. It was great to see that they lived up to all the praises I've heard.”
“Great location! Within walking distance of just about everything downtown. The views are beautiful. Loved sitting in the heated outdoor pool and relaxing while taking in the sights of the southern Salt Lake valley. Just need to be quick getting out of the pool. Very chilly between the pool and the rooftop entrance to the hotel. Fortunately, there are plenty of towels to create a makeshift parka with. ?
Nearby activities: Near the Delta Center, Trax, and Gateway mall.
Walkability: Elevators take you directly from the garage to any floor in the hotel. If you haven't checked in yet, you can get to the front desk without a key card. Easy access to anything in the hotel.
The Delta Center and Gateway mall are short walks. City Creek and Temple Square are much longer walks. Public transit is available at no charge within the downtown area.”

“This hotel is in the perfect location.
You are close to anything downtown, or within walking distance of mass transit.
Beautiful, inviting downstairs, the rooms are large and clean.”
“Place looks great. Rooftop pool didn't feel like 80 degrees but still fun. Breakfast was pretty good too. Rooftop restaurant next door (Van Ryder) is a vibe for sure. Will be staying here again.”
“The hotel view was amazing but more amazing than that was the quality of service I've received. From the valet, speaking of Tal and Quin specifically, to the Mar Muntanya staff, specifically Aaron and Danny at the bar. Also the chef is an absolute genius. Also Captain and the twins. These people all need raises!”
“Great restaurant. The ribeye was absolutely outstanding, as were the Brussels sprouts. Jack was efficient as a server. The ambiance was comfortable and quality. I felt like I could take my coat off and settle in. My only regret is that we didn't save room for dessert.”

“The pics online don’t do this hotel justice. It’s very clean and very nice. Hotel staff were lovely at all times throughout our stay. Beds were super comfy, shower pressure was great, breakfast was very tasty for hotel breakfast and I can’t get over how quiet the rooms were. Not once did we hear any other guest’s door closing or voices in the hall. The only negative is what others have said and that’s the location. It’s definitely not the nicest side of town and there are many homeless and addicted folks around, however we walked a couple blocks to a bar and nobody bothered us. We noticed a pretty heavy police presence at night and honestly didn’t feel unsafe. I would just recommend obviously not leaving anything in your car and just not hanging outside in the area too much at night. I would recommend this hotel for a very decent spot for the price point.”

“Stayed here a couple of times for work and leisure due to the proximity to areas in downtown Salt Lake. The rooms were clean and comfortable, location is walking distance many food places as well as close to trax which is just across the plaza.”
“One of the very nicest places we have stayed with exceptional hospitality. The rooms were immaculate. The grounds and the view were beautiful. All of the staff friendly and incredibly helpful. The convenience to the tram could not be beat. Easy to get to for someone from out of town. We left some items and Armando, the manager, was wonderful helping guide us on the process to get them mailed back to us. We hope to return regularly.”

“This is not an AI-written review. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were courteous and helpful. However, some things would put a person off. Salt Lake City is not exactly known to be a safe city in the USA. I found a guy drunk and hobbling around in the vicinity of the rooms. Similar shady characters were hovering around the property. Safety is something that Marriot must not ignore if it wants to live up to its name.”

“Rooms: Spacious rooms. Close to the airport so you have to deal with that noise. No surprise there but the ac covered it well. They also provide you with one set of ear plugs, but if you have more than one person in the room you can get more from the front desk.”

This review is after 3 stays in a row so it's not an accident.1) Clean Room2) Clean Lobby3) Good water pressure4) Plenty of hot water5) Clean nice quality towels6) Fast high speed internet (Pic Attached)7) Close to the airportIf you want to save a few bucks and have a comfortable stay this place is A+.”
“Rooms were clean and well sized. The complimentary breakfast was very good.
Best thing about this for our family, though, was the location. Across the road from a large park. A quick walk to a variety of stores and restaurants. Everything felt very safe. Would definitely stay at this location again.”

“Spacious room. Very comfortable. Overall, great facility. Breakfast was delicious. Fitness area and pool were nice. The non refundable ($75) pet fee was a bit exorbitant, especially when even nicer establishments charge less than half of that rate.”

“We take road trips from Reno to Colorado Springs at least twice a year. The place we were staying was becoming increasingly unaccomidating. We've stayed at Doubletrees by Hilton several times on other trips in the last couple years and decided to try this one. We very much enjoyed this stay and will definitely return for the next Colorado road trip! Enjoyed breakfast there too! ☺️The biggest problem we have, with any hotel these days, is making reservations. When the front desk swears they're the front desk & can make reservations for you, & it turns out they're a third party instead & when you get there, it's wrong & nothing can be done except contacting the 3rd party & you don't even know who that was! ?”

“This hotel is small but conveniently located near the university/hospital. The parking lot is an awkward tirangle shape shared with a dentist office and a Verizon. Because it is set back from the road it is very quiet inside. I arrived early (around 1pm) and there were multiple rooms available so I could choose which floor I wanted to be on. The front desk did mess up and double-bill the room, but was able to fix it before check-out. The lobby was clean and bright. There is a coffee and tea station available all day. The rooms were spacious and clean, albeit outdated. The shower was very old and entirely plastic from the basin to the plastic wall to the plastic sliding door. There were outlets on every lamp and in logical places, like near the desk. The WiFi was good. The breakfast was standard hotel buffet, but had a variety of cold cereals, hot food, yogurts, fruit, waffle maker, so there is an option for everyone.”

“The bed in my room was particularly comfortable. My room was small but adequate with a decent size bathroom. I enjoy the style and the patina of the hotel. But keep in mind this is a very old building with all its charm and its defect. Keep that in mind as things may need a little bit of help here and there but overall it is excellently maintained. The lobby is very nice and comfortable to lounge or to work. The restaurant to take your breakfast is very reasonable and with the 15$ credit, you can actually get some real food. The new Lavazza coffee machine in the room is great. I would stay there again. It is very refreshing comparing to the cookie cutter rooms in regular hotels.”

“Less expensive than 5 star hotels, but what a deal. Terrific customer service, perfect bed IMHO, clean room, good forceful hot shower and plenty to eat at the free breakfast. It even has gym equipment. I did not try the pool. The airport shuttle was easy and available. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“My business team stayed here over the course of 3 months. I made at least 17 reservations at this location during that time. I spent over $10,000 on stays. The reason we chose to continue to comeback was due to the quality of service provided by Amanda and Hollie. I cannot speak highly enough about how they both made my life, job, and business easier to manage by being highly skilled and efficient at their craft. Their onsite teams, location, quality of rooms, and pricing were good and competitive, but the experience of working with both of those ladies is why I continued to have my team stay at this location. I would also like to give a shoutout to Wendy. Hollie and Amanda actually saved my company money in the long run because there was zero hassles when coordinating with them. They valued my time. Hollie and Amanda will both be my first POC when I have future work in the SLC area.”
“Not only do I stay here, I work here as well. For a small, family owned business guests are treated like family so they want to keep coming back. Also, we have the lowest rates in the valley.”
“Shuttle services from the airport, was a plus. No wait for check in before arrival, a plus. Text messages from Motel, a definite plus.
Noteworthy details: Shuttle service to and from airport. Breakfast provided. Comfortable rooms for solo travelers. Easy access to UBER & LYFT, short wait. TRAX is available if you’re on a budget. I had a restful sleep.”
“Not everyone will be able to very these rooms, definitely not for everyone, but those who like to change something to experiment and get into the atmosphere will definitely like Very otmasferny hotel with interesting rooms, in winter will feel much stronger atmosphere. Close to the center is very convenient.”
