iKennel, Inc.
702 S Redwood Rd, Salt Lake CityI’ve been looking for fencing to create a dog run for my German Shepherd. Found these guys online and got a brand new, high quality large dog run for the same price most people were selling used ones for. Killer value. 6feet high. Weather protected powder coating, sun shade and large gate. The product is perfect, they were kind and friendly and helped me load it. Will be back when it’s time to expand the dog run as the puppy grows.

It's Reigning Cats & Dogs
1604 1100 E, Salt Lake CityCannot say enough great things about this place! Ive been coming here since 2012/2013, have brought 3 different dogs here through the years, and each one have shown comfort at Reigning Cats and Dogs. Compared to other spots where they've shown anxiety, this is the only spot where my samoyed happily walks to their cage to wait for her turn. Irva is an excellent groomer and terrific person~ she has a strong passion for dogs and even participates in AKC dog shows on the regular, demonstrating that her passion runs deep. The Reigning Cats and Dogs community has always been good to me and my family and its a place I regularly recommend people to check out. Though I live all the way in West Jordan, I still make it a priority to make the drive to see Irva.

Utah Paw
3162 S 300 W, Salt Lake CityBeyond the premium ingredients, the joy this food brings to my pet means everything to me. Seeing their excitement at mealtime—those eager eyes and an empty bowl every time—fills my heart and reassures me that they truly love what they’re eating. What makes it even more special is the trust I feel in the brand. TastyTails’ openness about where their ingredients come from and how their food is made gives me peace of mind, knowing I’m giving my pet something made with real care and love.
If you’d like it even warmer, shorter, or more like a testimonial for ads, I can adjust it 💛🐾

7054 S 2300 E, Salt Lake CityI can’t say enough good things about this place and their staff!
I had a previous bad experience with a different vet.
Hillside staff actually properly diagnosed my kitten and gave her the proper treatment. They also took the time to answer all of my questions and validated my concerns about the other vet being wrong.
She had a fairly simple issue that the other vet hadn’t been able to catch. Thanks to the hillside staff at their urgent care, my kitten is feeling better than she has in months!

Utah Pet Rehab & Acupuncture Center, LLC
2896 E 3300 S, Salt Lake CityI cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful place. We were referred by our vet for our 12-year-old corgi who was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy, and the people there have truly been a godsend. The physical therapist, vets, & vet techs have done an incredible job helping my dog get stronger and have kept her as mobile as possible. They treat each animal like a member of their own family, and I know my dog is always in the best possible hands when I take her there. They are empathetic & supportive, which has meant so much as we learn to work with our dog's diagnosis, and they are more knowledgeable than any other veterinary professional that we've seen so far. I really can't recommend them enough!

Brickyard Animal Hospital
1213 E 3300 S, Salt Lake City3 months ago, we called Brickyard Animal hospital in crisis. Our dog had been diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma and needed her spleen removed immediately. Dr. Allen accommodated our schedule and saved her life. When she got home, I noticed that the staff had trimmed her nails. I don’t know why but that act of kindness brought my wife and I to tears. We didn’t ask for it. They didn’t charge us. And the gesture communicated so much.
The doctor let us know that we hadn’t saved her, only extended her life by 3 months. Maybe up to 6 if we were lucky. Today we let her go, 3 months almost to the day. And as much as I hate this, I have so much gratitude for these people who gave us 3 more months to grieve and to be with our pup. Thank you thank you so much. For your skill and your kindness and your genuine love. It showed through every step of the process.

Millcreek Urgent Pet Care
2361 E 3300 S, Salt Lake CityOur Cat had an abscess tooth. It was very dramatic. His chin was very swollen and clearly painful. Millcreek Urgent Care got us in immediately on a Saturday morning. During the visit our Cats chin burst open, it was really exciting in a very scary way. Dr Prior handled the situation with calm assertive strength. He seems unshakable and born to be a Veterinary Doctor. His stealthy actions gave our Kitty (and us) confidence that we were all in the right hands. They performed two extractions, one of which, as mentioned, had burst through his chin. They managed to get this done for an incredibly reasonable price and in a miraculously efficient timeframe. We were in at around 10:30 and picked him up and brought him home by 4:15 the same day. Dr Prior is the answer for no nonsense, no “upsell” strong confident pet care. The staff are incredibly helpful as well. It’s hard to not be in awe of the Millcreek urgent clinic and their gifted staff. While I hope I never have another pet emergency I hope they will always be available in times of crisis. Thank You Guys! Words can’t convey they comfort and peace you have provided us and most importantly our Kitty Tiger ?

Pet Sitting & Training

The Canine Mind
3340 S 275 E, Salt Lake CityI’ve waited two weeks to post this review because I was too in awe of my dog’s progress with The Canine Mind. I enrolled my 1-year-old hound mix, Raina, in the two-week board and train program. And I’m telling you that this team is literally a group of doggie cognitive psychologists — and this is coming from a human cognitive psychologist. In two weeks, my dog received a level of training that I probably couldn’t have achieved in my lifetime (let alone two weeks). She is excellent off leash now, generally more responsive, and better at overall manners (no longer jumping on visitors in my house, for example). If I were to chat with younger me, I would have totally enrolled my first dog in this type of program. This foundation is essential for having a good quality of life with your dog. It still takes a lot of learning + work on the human side, but I’d say this program was absolutely worth every dollar. My dog is better in every aspect of behavior, despite maintaining the fundamental personality traits that make her who she is. THANK YOU!

Innovative K9 Academy
1899 S Redwood Rd a3, Salt Lake City10/10 for Innovative K9 and their team! We have a new born, toddler, and Hans, our Greater Swiss Mountain dog weighing in around 120lbs. He was a good dog before K9 camp and he is a great dog now. They helped Hans with his manners in the home and now he will lay (and stay) on his bed during floor time or while my son sets up his train table. He has nearly 100% accuracy on off leash recall, and I can now walk him on leash which was a battle before K9 camp. 10/10 would recommend.

They took our dog in and let it ride. We checked her out on occasion to make sure she knew she wasn't lost or abandoned and the staff treated her like a queen. We took our dog out for a grooming appointment one day and returned and they didn't even recognize her. Four Legged Scholars LLC
4050 S 2700 E, Salt Lake CityWorking with Johanna at Legged Scholars was a game-changer for us and our Rottweiler. We went the online training route — which I was skeptical about at first — but it turned out to be way more effective than the in-person sessions we'd tried before. Without the distractions of a new environment and other dogs, our girl could actually focus and absorb what we were teaching her.
Johanna backs everything up with a ton of resources: video libraries you can rewatch anytime, and a personalized Trello board packed with training tips tailored specifically to our dog. Having everything organized in one place made it easy to stay consistent between sessions.
If you're on the fence about online dog training, stop overthinking it. Johanna knows her stuff and the results speak for themselves. Highly recommend.

Liberty Bark
1608 S 300 W, Salt Lake CityI cannot speak highly enough of Liberty Bark!! I have a very shy and nervous little dog and the staff has been nothing but patient and loving with her. Initially I was just grateful to find a doggie daycare that takes all dogs because Leia was too nervous for other facilities to take her. Knowing they could care for her specific needs was such a relief. Over the times I have sent her to daycare, day school, and boarding our sweet girl has found her confidence and comfort around new people and dogs. Every staff member is highly skilled and so wonderful. I can’t thank them enough for helping us help Leia live her best life. Five stars isn’t enough.

Aarf Pet Care
5956 S Stratler St, Salt Lake CityWe absolutely LOVE the Aarf House and have been taking our pups here for the past 4 years! We use daycare about 1-2 times a month and boarding about 4-6 weeks every year. We have two very different dogs, and they both thrive here. Our dog Louie is super outgoing and social, and has the best time playing all day. Every time we pick him up, he doesn’t even want to come home with us, he’d rather stay and keep having fun! Once we went on a 2 week vacation and had him boarded the entire time; we were so excited to see him and when we picked him up, he literally ran back inside aarf house haha. Our older dog Sophie isn’t as interested in playing, so we’re especially grateful that the staff take extra time to cuddle her and give her the one-on-one attention she needs. It means so much to us that they truly understand and care for each dog’s individual personality.
The team is amazing and I truly can't say enough good things. For example, they hand-feed our dogs if they’re being picky and refuse to eat. That level of care and patience is so appreciated. We also love that there are no kennels and the dogs can sleep wherever they feel most comfortable in the house. The boarding and daycare experience is fantastic, and we always feel completely at ease leaving our dogs here! Can't rave enough about how much our family loves the Aarf house and their staff!
