February 27: exceptional grooming salon. Before relocating to Salt Lake City this winter, Sasha had always been groomed at a private home. After speaking with Jared, I was reassured to give ‘a dog’s life’ a visit…And felt even better after meeting him and his wife Lonnie. Sasha is a blind rescue and, as Tennessee Williams said of his most enduring character, “ she’s fierce as a tiger and fragile as a moth.“ Jared and his very kind assistants did a lovely grooming, including a much more-needed expression of the glands. I have a little Pomeranian and her full body trims/bath always turn out so good, I absolutely love it! I’m so glad I found him. She is now 1.5yr old and she’s only been groomed by AJ except for the very first grooming she had in other grooming place. AJ is absolutely the best and I didn’t even need to find other groomers after I found him. My dog also seems like she is enjoying time with AJ!

My dog being a new patient got sick they took me in instantly and kept on being accommodating for us and still do I am very impressed. We are still trying to figure out what is going on with my Lolo and it really seems like the whole team at Mountain Vale is going above and beyond from front desk to vet tech to vet Lolo and I thank you ?

Banfield Pet Hospital
7712 5600 W, West JordanWe have a very large dog (140lbs so far). Some places seem very hesitant to see him. The doctor and staff here have been happy to care for him and have been very good, friendly and calm when working with him. They have offered helpful advice and helped us out with a few issues for him. Would love to see some expanded hours as we have had one emergency where we had to go elsewhere, but we will continue to take him here for his care when we can.

1801 W 7000 S, West JordanWe have had a fantastic experience with the Team at Sit Means Sit. Communication about appointments has been great and they were flexible when we needed to make a last minute change.
The trainers clearly love dogs and our dog had no hesitation going into the training facility each day which made us trust that she was getting the right care and attention despite being under intense training.
The follow up session has been incredibly valuable, and the homework exercises have been tailored what is important to us, rather than rigid training exercises.
We have noticed a significant difference in our dog in a short period of time and also know that with ongoing group training, our dog (and her humans) will continue to improve.
I am really happy to recommend Sit Means Sit.

Thai Delight Cafe

I dont know how good the Thai is since I have only had a few Thai places (in Utah, Seattle has way better food) but it is definitely better than Thai 101 in Salt Lake. Not that that place isnt good, but thier soup didn't even come close, and the Panang also wasn't as good as Thai Delight. Maybe it needed more spice because Thai 101 didn't even ask me if I wanted it spicy or how spicy. Even on the Wonton soup they ask you how spicy you would like it at Thai Delight. I love the soup the way it is but maybe one day I will try some spicy wonton soup. They also have pretty good wings and my wife likes the orange chicken there. Its very different than Chinese orange chicken so don't expect the same style as a Chinese food place, but differentin a good way. We got there whenever we have a chance. I dont have any pictures but I will take some next time. They also recently put in HUGE tables. I am guessing you could fit 12 people on some of them.
