Gary C. Swensen Valley Regional Park is a quiet and scenic outdoor space ideal for various activities. The park features a small disc golf course with mostly short holes and a few long ones, set among large, beautiful trees that provide plenty of shade. Visitors can enjoy a playground and restrooms, making it family-friendly. The park is tucked away from busy roads, offering a peaceful environment for picnics, running, and relaxing. On some days, free summer lunch programs for kids are available. It hosts community events like fireworks during Taylorsville days, which are well-organized and enjoyable. The park's baseball diamonds add to its charm, and the natural setting makes it perfect for a serene outdoor experience. While some parts of the disc golf course could use landscaping, overall, it is a pleasant spot for both recreation and relaxation.
Nice big Park, good play ground, lots of space, bathrooms.

Nice and relaxing place to spend a few hours. I was able to meditate, read and do some stretches.

Taylorsville Dayzz at the Park. Fun things for the kids. All kinds of food. All kinds of music on the stage. The Jerseys, Elvis and Tina, Queen Nation, and much more. Fireworks that are second to none. All kinds of food, drinks, and treats.
