“My first time with EVV was when my 20-year-old cat had declined rapidly in health in 2021. Dr. Sophie was so incredibly kind and helpful in us reaching our conclusion that we had to say goodbye. It was something we had dreaded for a long time, but our experience at EVV was more than we could’ve hoped for under such sad circumstances.Since then, Dr. Sophie and the EVV team has seen our other two cats. One of which they’ve seen since he was a kitten. They’ve been so wonderful to work with and I trust the care they provide. I’m saddened that we’ll be moving to a different state and hope we can find similar care for our fur babies.”

The techs are also great with the nail trims, as we have three dogs with completely different personalities!I should also acknowledge this veterinary hospital for saving my dog's life seven years ago after he was attacked! We rushed him in because it was the closest, and they were able to get him bandaged with a drain, so we could get him safely to the emergency vet. We are forever indebted to them for their quick response!”

“We love Utah Pet Rehab! Our big fur kid developed a limp last fall. It took awhile to determine it was his shoulder. We tried rehab first at Utah Pet Rehab and they helped us determine he really did need surgery. While the experience with the surgeon has been a mixed bag, we’ve had a wonderful experience with the staff at Utah Pet Rehab! If your dog has any kind of injury I recommend going there before you make any decisions about surgery. I also highly recommend going there after any kind of orthopedic surgery as surgeons can’t always see past the OR. Physical therapy should be a part of any healing process!”

“I called Dr. Monroe to see if he could help our paralyzed dog. He was out of town but he called the day after he got home and left a message and then called again. He told us he couldn't help her but gave us other options and spent a lot of time on the phone educating me on her condition and what to do. I didn't pay him a cent and he wasn't expecting anything but his compassion was so amazing to me. He works with horses but if I had a horse I would take it to him. His integrity, compassion, knowledge and care is such that I haven't seen elsewhere.”

“Our Charlie pup of 11 years, who'd never had a sick day in his life, went from a typical great doggie day to an emergency in the space of about three hours. To make a long story much shorter, we rushed him here. A saint of a man (there for his own pet) rushed out to carry Charlie in...running alongside the three staff who came outside as well. They did all they could, but our Charlie didn't make it. The compassion shown to my son and I was incredible. I can't say enough good about the love and care that goes into helping our beloved furry family members. They cried alongside of us. This is a very hard business....taking care of our pets when we can't. It's hard on them as well ... especially during the holidays. Thank you for your kindness and compassion when we needed it the most.”

“If you're in an emergency situation with your pet where they're dying and need to be put down and if several clinics are overbooked or are not available to do it right away, then choose this one. Had to call a lot of different vet clinics for my dachschund to be put down and luckily found this place where they were able to book a room fast over the phone. They also did a good job with my dogs paw print. 5/5”

Red Butte fit me in very last minute and on the day after Christmas. I had spent the past 24 hours extremely anxious about my dog and Dr. Brandt helped to calm down a lot of my anxieties. They took another x-ray and let us know what was actually going on with him. In just under 24 hours, he had already improved immensely with the medications they sent us home with.They were communicative on pricing and what procedures would be done. I'm so grateful they were able to help me get my dog back to his healthy and playful self!”

They find ways to fit us in promptly and I’ve never felt rushed while in the appointment (If anything, sometimes I’m concerned I’m taking up too much of their time).While I understand that some may want to be coddled during an exam, I appreciate the direct and clear communication style regarding the seriousness of my pet’s medical care. I am not a child, I don’t need my hand held while my dog may be suffering from an ailment. That being said, Dr. T has never, ever been rude or confrontational. He has always taken the time to listen to me thoroughly and has offered suggestions based on our discussions. What else can you ask for?I always recommend this place to friends or family looking for a new vet for their animals. They are a small clinic, which I really appreciate. The techs and front desk staff always greet my animal by name, so I’ve never felt like just a #. I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to get into a waiting room. My current dog is *extremely* fearful of new people (won’t even take treats) but always responds well to the staff, takes treats, wags his tail, and gives kisses even when being poked and prodded.We had a medical procedure done before a holiday weekend and Dr. T gave us his personal contact info just in case we needed him while the clinic would be closed. Another time, we had our beloved boxer finally pass away after an 8-month battle with DCM, and when calling to see where to take his remains, they stayed open for nearly an extra hour even though we weren’t in the office. They called us after hours to make sure we were taken care of. I can go on and on about specific instances of compassionate care shown by OCVC. This is a veterinarian who clearly cares deeply about animals and his clients — which is also reflected by the team he leads.I am sad to see so many negative reviews online because I cannot stress enough how wonderful this clinic has been for our family over the years. If you are looking for honest answers for your pet’s care, try OCVC. If you’re looking for someone to tell you what you want to hear, go elsewhere and keep this clinic small for me and the others that know what a gem it is ?”

“The grooming department gets five stars - we love Jayce! She is so sweet, and our pup always gets returned to us looking adorable. He is nervous and ornery so she must really have a way with him. I love how the grooming area is right up front and easy to access in these times of social distancing. They also have their own register for checkout which I appreciate. The store itself isn't my favorite. The layout is confusing, I swear every time I go to look for our staple wet and dry foods they have moved. It's definitely a little dingy. However, the employees are all efficient and helpful!”
