We went into purchase a digital thermometer the price was on the item and the price was $24.99 only when we went to the register it was 129.999 I'm not sure if it was a mistake or what but it was very embarrassing going in there up to the counter and then not having enough money to purchase it at five times the amount

Had a small selection of flashlights. Not surprising, as most people use their phones now. Sales associate was helpful. Good store for small needs.

Went to Ace today for a sale for power tools. We went to 2 other Ace locations, pleasant grove & draper and employees could not help and could not answer questions. Went to Sandy, and Bob was awesome and knowledgeable. Items weren't in stock, like other stores, but he ordered them for us, and we'll get them by Wednesday. Thanks for the service Bob!

I stopped by at 725pm and they said they were closed. The sign on the door clearly says open tell 8pm. The lady was vacuuming the front entrance and yelled "we are closed"If you say open tell 8pm, please honor that.

I have been to this location many times and I always look for Clay. He is so helpful and patient, always willing to go the extra mile.Anyone else I have gotten help from has been rude, abrupt, and dismissive. I highly suggest they get Clay to train everyone in customer service.

Wow! Imagine they actually carry parts you need!!!! It's the best place over any big box.... I support local business. They actually know what utahns need! I needed an evaporative (swamp) cooler pully they're the only place who stock all parts necessary for swamp coolers.

Great customer service, no complaints. The only thing I can think of is the prices keep going up, But they are everywhere how can this continue at this rate?

This place has everything I need. Literally everything. But I couldn't get anyone to help me buy a $300 Stihl trimmer with another $100 in accessories. I asked the person up from for assistance, who told me her manager had to get it down, fill it with fuel, and make sure it starts and give me the manual. I said great. I returned ten minutes later and she told me the same thing, looking down the main aisle toward the back, and told me she couldn't go back there - even though there was nobody in the store. She said sorry without looking at me and I said "No problem" very politely, and left. Now I'm an understanding guy. I'm not mad. But a word of advice. If there's a person willing to buy something - anything - I don't care if it's two cans of paint, a filter, or a mower - you help them. If the owner of the store was there, and the person needed to get a manager in the back - you bet your ass they would have jogged to the back and got the manager to assist me in a timely manner. If you're not helping your own customers, what are you in business for? This is America. Land of opportunity. And when there is opportunity, literally in front of you, snatch it up. Don't let people walk away from you. Don't let them leave. Bend for them. Care for them. Cause you don't know who they are. I know I don't look like much - just a long haired dad that plays guitar and is mellow as yellow. But I talk. And I have more real life friends than anyone. And while I won't put Ace down, because I genuinely believe they have a good store. I will steer people away. Cause I simply don't want my friends or family or community to waste their time when there are other options. Ace. Step it up. If you do. I will be back.

We moved to Sandy in 2020 and were excited to have an ACE so close. Boy, have we been disappointed on multiple occasions since then. Their inventory is constantly off, most* employees don’t know much about what they carry, sometimes they don’t open at their advertised time with no notice, pricey, disorganized… We now go to Lowe’s and Home Depot. I stopped in yesterday hoping they’d have a sprinkler part I needed that online said they had in stock to save a trip, lol…. I should’ve known better. That section was a mess, and the employee didn’t recognize or seem to even know what I was showing her on my phone. So sad to not have a reliable ACE after being near the amazing location in Cottonwood Heights.

Went in yesterday, had the worst experience with the lady at the register..kind of doppelgänger of Billy Ray Cyrus in his Achy Breaky Heart music video, if you know what I mean. Anyway, she didn’t acknowledge me at all. And when I walked up to the register to ask about a mower, it wasn’t until I stood directly in front of her for a bit until she reluctantly said, “can I help you?”, meanwhile still having never looked at me. I asked about the mower I had been looking at and between bites of her food, she gave me a bit of information that I could barely understand. It ended up not having a part I needed, so I told her I’d pass on it and said “thanks”. I might’ve gotten back a grunt? Haha. Still didn’t look at me once. A few men walked in after me and they got a nice “hello” and eye contact. By the looks, I’m assuming she‘s probably the type to wear a white hood on the weekends and that it might embarrass her to look a person of color in the face. In any case, we ended up at Ace in Cottonwood and actually got really great, friendly service. Won’t be back to Sandy.
