Great place to get prescription and your glasses too at good prices. They have a discount for additional pairs right now (50$!) The Hispanic lady who helped me (Nelly, Nina?) was patient and kind to me. Great service.

Costco pharmacy pharmacist is the most disrespectful person That I have ever come across. I'm 73 years old , and after 30 years on the same medician he decided who and how many prescriptions he would fill and even the amount he would alot out! I had a handwritten prescription from my Doctor, and he said big deal he won't honor it!.they have filled it here every month for years! but due to the manufacturer shortage he has decided the amount he thinks I should be taking and he said he didn 't care what the Dr. approved he wouldn't dispense it to me ! He was trying to question me , about my medicines I take for my ADHD. and acted like there was no such thing that people just wanted drug's so insulting ! I am a 73 year old Grand mother that was new being treated like a person off the street trying to score pills. I have never been treated so badly ! I am an upstanding citizen! My Husband is a retired Policeman, and this so-called Pharmacist was treating him like dirt also. I won't stand for this, I'm turning him in to the pharmacist code of ethics for them to take what kind of action can be taken against him?He insulted everyone of us that are suffering from ADHD!hes at 5201 South intermountain Drive

I'm very frustrated with my Sandy, UT. Costco today 5/13/2023. I've been a loyal member for over a decade and today I got there 30 minutes or so before they closed, but didn't hear anything about them closing soon? I went about my normal shopping, getting way too much as I normally do. I was taking time, getting everything on my list and noticed that I was being spied on from both ends of the isle, it felt like I was in a prison and the guards were watching my every move. I asked the man on one side of the isle what they were doing, because it felt strange to me and he told me that they had to make sure that I was safe, because they were closing and didn't want any fork lift to run me over. I told him I was just trying to finish up my list and I would be out of there as soon as possible.I went down the next isle and there was a woman watching me, I noticed the flowers that I had missed on the previous isle. It's nearly Mother's Day, so I pointed my cart as I was walking to the flowers and the lady physically stopped my cart and said "You can't go that way". By this time, I felt that I was kind of being man handled with the fact that she had stopped my cart, rather than just saying, "Is there something you need that I can get for you, we are closed and they don't want members going back there?". I told her that I just needed flowers and since they were about 5 feet away from me, I didn't think it would be a problem? She was a little snooty with me, saying she could get them. I told her that it was a personal gift and I'd like to pick them out myself, reluctantly she let me get them.I went to the next isle and on my way back to the lady, another lady yelled from almost all the way down the isle (right next to the other lady), " sir, we are closed, you need to go to the register." I yelled back to her, I'm fully aware of that and have been told already.Honestly, I had no idea that Costco was closing so early. It's amazing how customer service works, when it's bad, you end up feeling like you've been wronged. When it's great, you understand everything you need to know and you leave either happy with the way that you've been treated or leave not ever thinking anything about it.To Costco: Customer Service is Paramount to the longevity of your stores. You've had the luxury of being one of very few big box stores that cater to Groceries and non perishables like Kirkland brand items, etc. All great things end, it just depends on how long you are able to do and be better than your competition. Customer Service and Satisfaction is a keystone to the success of Costco and without it, it can erode the foundations of a business. Keep that in mind when you work for those that make you successful. If they leave, being frustrated with the way they are treated, you may have more posts just like this and that alone starts the erosion.

If I'm going to Costco which isn't a super frequent thing for me, because I have no use for that much stuff in bulk! I came to buy Tofu, eggs, broccoli and some almond flour tortillas! I enjoy this location, not sure why it's three stars, it can get busy! But, I feel like that's pretty synonymous to all Costcos. The parking lot is spacious! But, yes busy! The gas station does get backed up, but it moves pretty efficiently. I think it's great, near all the locations I am generally at! And the staff, is generally pretty friendly! I have had one awful experience in customer service, but I find that experience to be a one off! She was pretty awful! But, we all deserve grace! If you are in Sandy and need some much needed bulk and other stuff come on down! My goal was to spend less than $100, and pals I did it lol!

I'm a self check out kinda girl but many, many times the employees in the self checkout area, that are there to help, mind you, just stand there and chat with each other when I'm struggling to turn my box of milk over to scan it. They can be very unhelpful at times.

Try hiring people that aren’t completely rude shrews. That might help. A smile goes a long way.

5 stars for Costco. Could easily spend thousands of dollars here and definitely have. Costco is the best! We love the samples, the food court l, the clothes, the bulk items, and everything kirkland brand. They have the easiest returns and kindest workers. The parking lot is a nightmare and so is going on a Saturday haha.

Just plain dumb!!! I went to pick up my new glasses that I ordered around 5:15 ish on December 17th. The woman who handed me my new pair picked up my old ones which were taped up because they were broken. She then proceeded to fold them forcefully. People with common sense would be able to see that you couldn’t fold them any further without breaking them. And on top of that she didn’t even apologize for snapping them in half! She just stared at me as I took them from her hands. Absolutely shocked! I needed my old pair to see while driving!!! If I can recall she was wearing a dark green crew neck shirt. Don’t touch other people’s glasses unless you have clear instructions to do so!!!

Dr. Marco Arici was a wonderful optometrist. He took the time to explain things to me. I never felt pressured during the appointment. He was very friendly. Definitely would come back here.

Don't ever get a job or work here they will screw you over big time. I've had a family member work here for over 17 yrs and they treated him like he was worthless. He was the hardest worker ever and they ruined everything. Also the assistant manager is a big A hole

Costco is the best. Everyone knows it. And if you don't know it - you don't understand life. Also - be considerate in the parking lot.

Props to this business and the workers for working on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. I know people don't like working on the eves of those holidays but props to them. Not only that. I did notice the workers here were still happy and cheerful helping customers out even though it was really packed on those two days I came here. This Costco is a bit different in terms of it having its layout but for the most part it's not bad. It's just crazy how much traffic goes though this place inside and out. But regardless, do expect to have a hard time driving out of the parking lot if you do go in on an Eve of a holiday as it took me 15 minutes to get out. Costco is awesome though and would recommend this place.

I had the tires rotated & balanced on my Mazda CX-5 today. I have a PTSD assistance canine for issues I struggle with following a random, violent assault that occurred several years ago. When I went to check in at the bay where the service professionals work, David C. welcomed my dog & I. David acknowledged my dog in a natural & kind way (she is allowed to be petted with my permission, which I gave to her). Then pointed me in the right direction to the check in area.Lindsay at the front desk was equally professional & kind. She checked me in, called me when my car was ready, well under the time they estimated it would take. When it is a struggle to go out & tend to what should, and used to be, normal everyday responsibilities (without my dog) it makes all the difference in the world to be treated with kindness & respect. When a "difference" presents itself visibly or in the way a person interacts with others it can cause anxiety, which is why it's so important to recognize those who have the presence of mind & care enough to treat others as they would hope to be treated. It's experiences like this that make healing from trauma possible- "overwriting" neural wiring damaged from an insult to the brain is what it's all about. And it takes many more positive than negative experiences to accomplish. Thank you for making a difference today by going the extra mile to make what could have been a challenging task pleasant, please know that your kindness was the highlight of my day today!

It's not the employees fault of course, but it's gotta have the worst designed parking lot I've ever seen, especially for how busy it gets. Inside is great.
