Called down to the salt lake store to confirm they had an item in stock. Over the phone they confirmed they have it in store. I drive all the way down and they can’t find it and claimed it would take a whole day to try and locate it. Only reason I drove down was to avoid the form 3 wait times. Unorganized.

I've visited twice and neither time have I been helped by the staff despite asking for assistance. With this level of customer service you might as well shop online.

I was helped by Jonathan today, who came to ask if I needed anything within a minute of walking in. He then spent quite a long time with me as I compared a decent variety of ccw guns, including running around the store quite a bit to grab different options. Jonathan was friendly, professional, honest, very patient with me as I nitpicked minutiae, and gave very practical advice. I felt comfortable, neither pressured nor judged. I'm not here to argue with anyone else's experience, but this was mine.

If your going to shop here stop by and see Tyler. Hes the only reason I'll give 5 stars and keep me as a customer. Both locations I can walk around for ever and never have anyone come ask if I need help finding something but I stopped by a couple months ago and Tyler helped me in my purchase and thought this store was different than the one in odgen so I decided to stop by again on 11/7 to see if you had a rifle in stock (it wasn't in stock). I walked around for a while waiting for someone to come help me and no one came over as I saw another rifle I was intrested in but no one came over so I left. I ended up going back and thought about not spending my money there but saw Tyler and he remembered me and he went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. If every employee was like Tyler you would have nothing but 5 star comments and alot more sales as he doesn't rush you and answers all your questions.

Looks like my experience is common according to other reviews. I'm always willing to give a business a chance. I went in browsed, nobody offered to help. When I got the counter. Three guys working, and I had to start the conversation. Vague answers to my questions made me feel like was annoying them. I used a more direct question with a specific model number, looking for a direct answer. Every bit of information that I expected from a sales person wanting my business, never happened. I had to ask What models fit? How much is it? When will you get it? What other options are there? Before I could finish forcing answers, I gave up. It was obvious that they didn't care to help me. I left the store and made my purchase elsewhere. I recommend you shop somewhere else.

This place is awesome. I ordered a 357 off of their website to a local FFL. It came with those week. They had great prices and a great inventory I would definitely recommend buy here. I’ve tried a lot of other places and it’s nice to have a gun shipped to a location super close by.

Don’t buy from this place they have incompetent employees who can’t do a simple background check.Then deny you a perches and can’t tell you why you got denied and tell you to get a lawyer for what my background is clean for your 411. It’s sad when you go to another gun shop the same day and get your background checked and you get approved. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover and think that everyone’s a criminal and buying a gun for crack head Joe because that’s the experience I got from this place.

The Ogden store does all internet sales, some of the young employees needs a refresher course on being customer service. No problem with fast shipping but friendly isn't in IMPACT GUNS business dealings

From the moment you walk in from the moment you leave you are treated like a criminal they have great prices for pistols but I'd rather spend 200 dollars more for way better treatment never going here again

Went there because they had a decent selection of AK-47s which is what I was intending to buy. I took a lot of time in what I choosing with help from my husband who is very knowledgeable with firearms. NO HELP from staff who all stayed behind the counter. Anyways, I was denied and banned from buying there again after doing a background check, which is completely clean, as the guy believed it wasn’t for me with NO evidence or reason. I felt completely embarrassed and DISCRIMINATED.

Not very good customer service in my opinion. I came in and was looking around and employees were just standing and talking to eachother and did not pay any mind to me whatsoever or ask if I needed any help I felt like a ghost walking in there lol Also after reading another comment on here about the woman who came in with her husband wanting to purchase a firearm and her husband was helping her pick which one due to his knowledge of firearms and her check came back clean and she was denied and banned from ever buying from there because the employee thought she was not buying it for herself.. ? that is a little concerning to me if this is true. And they’re response to that was simply we understand the frustration but the law is the law etc etc… which I understand yes the law is the law.. However what I want to know is what exactly made them come to that conclusion?? Were they just assuming?? Or was there an actual legit reason to believe that was the case?? I don’t think it’s right to just assume something like that without any real evidence or anything.. and just deny & ban someone forever.. but again I don’t know the full story here or the people, but I really don’t know how they would know for a fact that’s what was happening? and they’re response to that was very one sided and generic. Like what was the reason to think that?? Because if I was them and did absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever, and my background came back good! and i was then told I cannot purchase the firearm, and I’m also banned from the store just because some employee had a (feeling) I wasn’t purchasing it for myself but for another, without any actual proof or anything, just assumptions. I would be pretty upset too! Just saying..

Would do 0 stars if possible this is the worst gunshop I've been to, the fat blond waste of space employee was very rude to my wife who was trying to buy her first gun and was very excited about it. This pathetic excuse of a man decided to think she was buying the gun for me and denied the sale. I understand it's his right to do so however the rude way in which he did it is wrong and embarrassed my wife. Also we are law abiding people and would not do something illegal like that.
