The only downside is dining, but you can always go into town.

Although this place may be dated, we're grateful for having the option to stay in the park. This location is great, everyone is super friendly, it's quite clean, and the rooms are really spacious plus they afford a big balcony w/ comfy rocking chairs. Note: we had a suite (which only cost around $60 more.On a side note, the food at their restaurant (Red Rock Grill) is along the lines of what you would receive at a cafeteria. Although we were grateful for it being there, in retrospect we would have drove the couple minutes and gone into town (where there are a plethora of great eats).

Majestic setting! The Lodge was quiet and cozy. Our room exceeded all expectations. The Lodge staff were helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was delicious, and the wait staff were very pleasant. Do yourself a favor and book your stay at the Lodge!Nearby activities: Tons of hiking and wanderlust opportunities.

Great breakfasts, very poor quality food for evening dinners. Despite the lovely wait staff, I highly recommend that you go off-site for your evening meals. My meal was completely inedible (had 2 bites that took 10 mins to chew), expressed my unhappiness, showed the wait staff that it could not be cut through, and was offered 1/2 off, after the manager was consulted. Yes, paid 1/2 the price for 2 inedible bites, thank you to the manager on site. Do not eat dinners here!!! I recommend granola bars, frozen dinners that you can warm in the microwaves in the common areas, or eating offsite! All are much better alternatives!!!

The room was cozy and comfy. The gas fireplace was great, once the controls are understood. There is no TV and the rooms are dated but functional. The lodge restaurant was very good and reasonable. The staff appears to enjoy their jobs. The location is impossible to beat.

We booked a cabin which initially looked fine. Sadly, the place was not very clean and even had mice droppings inside two drawers. We talked with the front desk about the situation and they said the room would be properly cleaned upon our return from hiking—this not occurred, we came back to a room with mice droppings still in the drawers (the staff left a mouse trap in the room, but did not addressed the cleanliness). The room was finally cleaned after we had a second conversion with the front desk. Our overall stay was not what we expected. For our next visit we will most likely book a proper hotel in a nearby town.Rooms: Definitely not clean. The bathroom exhaust has not been cleaned in... Months? Years? The bathroom had fingernails/toenails on the floor and floss stuck to the walls. There were mice droppings near the coffee station and within two drawers.Food & drinks: The food was not expensive, but it is what you would expect from a remote restaurant within the park: canned vegetables and pre-made meals for the most part. The breakfast was not bad, but for lunches or dinner there are better options in the towns nearby.Noteworthy details: We thought the location would be great, but there are towns with nicer hotels nearby (10 min), with more options for restaurants.

The room was clean, not too outdated, cheaper than hotels outside the park entrance, and their food was inexpensive and delicious!

Hotel room was okay at best. But you come for the hiking and views, not the room. So - it is what it is.

Bathrooms have heaters which are great in winter. There are fridges and microwaves in the room. The room was clean and private. With luxury bedding and great amenities. Parking is near room make sure to put placquared in car from front desk.Need key code to get into area. Keep in mind that if shuttles are not running, parking might be difficult.

Zion National Park Lodge surpassed our expectations with its exceptional breakfast and dinner options. The gift shop offers a delightful array of items, ranging from essentials to locally crafted treasures, making it a perfect spot for unique souvenirs. One suggestion for added enjoyment could be incorporating nature-themed movie nights during the winter—a fantastic idea to enhance the overall experience. Our stay in one of the cabins was nothing short of impressive – impeccably clean, warm, and thoughtfully constructed. Zion Lodge truly provides a memorable and comfortable retreat amid nature’s beauty.
