Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great narrows gear for any season. Very cool T shirts to boot!

For all that is holy, DO NOT get your rental gear here just because it's the closest place to the park entrance. It's a high-volume zoo, with lines to rent and lines to return, and the prices aren't great anyway,We left and went up the road to Zion Adventure, which is chill and calm and offers great advice along with high quality rental gear at better prices.

I rented neoprene socks and water shoes and contracted toenail fungus soon after. I strongly suspect it is from the rentals because it smelled like wet dog. Clearly they are not cleaning the shoes properly.

I tried to make a reservation online for a bike, it took my credit card number, but never sent me a confirmation email. I called to ask them if it went through, the person who answered the phone would not check to see if my reservation went through, she just said their website sucks and laughed. She also said she could not make a reservation over the phone and to just come in because they "had plenty of gear." I told her I was coming on Friday and I knew it was going to be very busy, she told me not to worry because they "had plenty of gear." I was a little worried, but the website said that they only take reservations for the first 40 bikes and that the rest are first come first serve. So I booked a hotel nearby the night before and was there right when they open. They told me that all the bikes were reserved and that they only had e bikes. I told them that I had tried to make a reservation and if they could check if it went through. They refused to check and told me to talk to the people in charge. I went outside to find the person in charge and explained the situation, she said that there was nothing she could do as I stood there and saw about 200 bikes just sitting there. They told me to come back at 10 in case the person who reserved all of them didn't come in. I would recommend using a different service that cares more about having accurate online policies and customer service.

So happy we stumbled on this place before we did our narrows hike. The boots and walking stick are a must! Well worth the money.

Bibs and waterproof packs for the Narrows. Everything was clearly explained and worked great. Expensive but worth it in our opinion. The backpacks are very large, so we got 2 but could have just used 1.

Rent the waders, spend the money. It’s worth it

$55/person for the bib set rental for the day! Make sure you double check with the front desk to make sure you put it on correctly. I stayed 100% dry and went into water up to my chest and my boyfriend stayed 98% dry (his one bottom of his pant leg was a tiny bit wet)

Great place to rent waders to go up the narrows. 60$ out the door for the daily rental.

We were very impressed with Zion Outfitters! We rented dry bib packages for The Narrows hike. Jake was especially helpful in prepping us and answering all our questions during our fitting session the day before. Highly recommend this establishment!

First problem - I was given mismatched shoes (one was a 4.5 and the other was 3.5) I didn’t catch it until we were ready to board the shuttle. So I had to go all the way back to the store to get a replacement, stand in the line to get back into the park and back in the shuttle line. As a note- it extremely busy day at Zion so the wait to get back into the park and the shuttle was over an hour.Second problem - 30 minutes into our trek into the narrows my son (10 years old and on the spectrum) complained that his legs were cold. We thought maybe he was just chilled as we rented full body suit for him and he should be dry. Nope. He was so miserable that we cut our trip short for the day. We went back to ZO to return our gear. When we unzipped his suit (that the worker helps us put on him) water came out. We were completely shocked and another patron next to us commented how awful it was and it shouldn’t have allowed any water in. His pants he had under the suit was completely soaked. We felt so bad that he was hiking with a water suit filled with cold water. We were also pissed that his suit failed. The worker there just said - “oh, sorry about that” and took the suit and placed it in the bin to be washed. Suit was clearly defective and should have been pulled and inspected so another kid doesn’t go thru that. We had to wrap a jacket around him to remove the soaked pants and he was freezing. Talk about embarrassing for my son.Third problem - in our group of 7 adults. 3 of us had suits that let water in somewhere along the seam as our pants were also wet (not as soaked as the 10 yo) but still. We spent all this money on the proper gear for hiking the narrows and it didn’t even keep most of us dry. What a disappointment this was for us.Rent from somewhere else that routinely inspects their gear. We talked with others that rented from other facilities and they had ZERO issues with their gear.
