The new automated voice system is horrible. I can no longer type in my Rx number, it wants me to say the name of the Rx…who can pronounce these prescription names?? Why not give the option to choose one or the other? Also, if the system hears the smallest of sounds from my microphone, it thinks I verbally answered their question. This happened repeatedly and the system advanced down paths I didn’t want, with no option but to hang up and start over—only to experience the same problem again. It's a nightmare.
Lastly, my husband and I continually have problems with refills: coupons lost in their system, Rx’s suddenly not covered in the middle of the coverage year, etc. We did not experience these issues at previous pharmacies.
The CVS in Syracuse is an absolute headache.

I went there 7 mins before they closed at 10:00 to get my son medicine and they were already closed.

I don’t hate the place, the pharmacy is great, always has everything we need and is WAY better than Walgreens. My only complaint is that every time I come, there is at least 1 employee, if not multiple, right out front, and I mean standing in front of the main doors, smoking and vaping. You know they are employees because they have their name tags on. All they do when you go to walk in, is move out of the way, and then there is no one in the store! Just not very professional or healthy for others.

One of the pharmacists that work here is incredibly rude. Not just that but she has no care for the patients that go there. 100 % the worst CVS ever.

Terrible place. I have many examples- but one is from last night. I called them because they'd only filled half of my prescriptions (grr), told them I would send my daughter over to pick it up, she would be there in 10 minutes, and then they left early! My daughter got there before they closed at 8:00, and they had already left 😠

I arrived to the store 15 minutes before closing, just needing to grab one thing, and they were already closed and doors were locked. I’m shocked how this store stays in business with how many people make complaints. Do better!

Closed early without notice, shutdown computer early so even when I called them, they refused service, and then abruptly hung up on me when it was about 10 minutes prior to closing time.
Noting that the current star review on Google is 1.7 at this location, I would think that they would consider retraining staff and actually keep their commitments.
On a Saturday evening, my son had an accident while playing on the playground. We needed bandages. I rushed over to try and make it to CVS and even called them in advance telling them I was coming. That is when I was informed they shut down their services 10 minutes early and abruptly hung up the phone; I was literally across the street coming to their store. When you are a medical and health provider, at least keep your operating hours.
