They have a solid selection of outdoor gear, athletic equipment, clothing, and footwear, and the staff actually seemed interested in helping instead of just pointing me toward an aisle.
What I enjoy most is that the store feels connected to the Vernal community. The employees know their products and offer practical advice without any pressure to buy. It feels more like talking with someone who enjoys the outdoors than someone reading from a sales script. I could have wandered the aisles a lot longer just checking out all the gear. If you're looking for quality equipment and friendly service, Basin Sports is well worth the stop. Just give yourself a little extra time...it's surprisingly easy to leave with something you didn't know you needed.”

“My sons and I were in looking for a particular product, right when we walked in as I was getting a cart, we were greeted warmly. After we had gone through the store, I found what I was looking for and we came back up front. The same Woman who greeted us asked my 3 year old son if he could have his choice of any of the candies that they sold, which one he would choose. She then proceeded to buy that bag of those candies and asked if I was okay with him having a couple I said yes. I don’t know if this is common practice and they ask employees to do this every now and then or not but either way it was a pleasant experience and I just wanted to share this kind act.”
