“We have used Doug's Auto several times over the years on our older vehicles and they are always professional, fair, honest and kind. They are great people. Today, I was expecting to hear that our minivan needed costly repairs. They are sometimes busy. I had to wait two weeks to get my van in. I took it to another repair shop to get their opinion (silly me). They told me that it needed major repairs and would cost over $4k. Doug and his crew fixed my van for around $300. He said that if my check engine light comes on again I can bring it back for a second look for free. These mechanics are the best. I'll miss them when we move out of state in a few weeks.”

“Sam and Sean were professional and immediately imbued confidence and trust in me with their communication and how they serviced my VW Tiguan. Finding an auto mechanic you can trust can be difficult and I’ve had my fair share of being nickel and dimed for mediocre service. This place is somewhere you can trust 100%. Kapp’s diagnosed what was wrong (which several other shops had failed to do) and gave me a phenomenal recommendation for two convenient places where I got what I needed the same day. I even asked them where I could service my girlfriend’s Lexus and they gave me a rec that worked out perfectly as well. 10/10 recommend and I’ll be back for all my car’s needs. Thank you”

They were there when my engine gave out and I was stranded on the side of the road in May of 2023. They have my business for life.”

“Got new tires on my car first thing in the morning. Unusual/uneven wear brought about a recommendation for alignment. I had read a recent Facebook thread in which Ricky's name was mentioned half a dozen times as "THE" mechanic to use. Driving away from the tire shop I called Ricky and explained the situation and asked if there was any way he could work me in since I had the day off. Ricky said, "Come over right now and I'll squeeze you in". I was so grateful I wouldn't have to take another day off work. Ricky was so genuine, honest, quoted a more-than-fair price and promised to get me out and back on the road, which he did. Best mechanical services and best customer service. I've already referred a friend to Ricky! 10/10 recommend!!”

“my son hit a curb and took out the sidewall of a tire that still has more than 50% tread. All the other tire places wanted to replace all four tires. crazy Dave said they had a used tire only cost me 50 bucks. I called and 15 minutes later they had the tire replaced and installed. Five stars all the way I’ll be back for my new tires.”

“They are quick and efficient! They never pressure you into any repairs or upgrades they always just present their opinion and it’s so much less pressure than other places. No pressure on getting something done I didn’t absolutely need but made me aware of some maintenance that could be done soon according to the manufacturer. I didn’t have time for that today, but I will definitely be coming back when I do. Amazing service thank you !”

“Great communication and affordable rates. Took my son's car in to replace the window regulator and after completing the service they noticed oil leaking pretty badly. Turns out the techs at Jiffy Lube did a poor job installing the oil filter. Provo Car Docs redid the oil change, replaced the gasket and cap properly, no leak. I might have found my new favorite repair shop.”
“This place is amazing! When I lived in Provo I would always go there for oil changes and any other maintenance needs. I now live in Ogden and I will make the drive down for most repairs because the cost is so much lower than any other shop. Even with gas prices as high as they are currently, I still save money including the cost of gas to drive down there. The people are very friendly and helpful. I was having several leaks on one vehicle that I knew was at least transmission fluid and oil so I took it in. They gave it a thorough look over and then actually brought me back into the shop to show me all of the issues and exactly what would need to be done to fix it with a cost break down.
