“I have a 2007 Mercedes Benz C280 that I bought used in 2008 with 12,000 miles on it, now 16 years later with 188,000 miles, the driver seat is finally ripping out between the pleats in the seat. I take the car in every year to Ken Garff Mercedes Benz to get serviced and I asked them about replacing the seat cover and they said the car is too old and it would be around $1,800.00 for seat cover if they could find one plus the labor to replace it. Well I asked them is there any body they could recommend that could repair the seat before I go for the duct tape fix (P.S. I always buy used vehicles and run then until the wheels fall off and this C280 still has another 100,000 to go), and Ken Garff Mercedes Benz Service Department recommended Fox Valley Restoration, they said they have used them many times and they have great workmanship, quality and no issues. They gave me their phone number. So, I call Fox Valley Restoration and Steve answered, I told Steve about the seat that needed repair and he said bring it over to the shop and he’ll get me a quote. So, I did and Steve had the same factory seat material and it would be $375 for the repair, So I booked a repair date and dropped it off. Steve called when the repair was completed and the seat looks wonderful it looks factory, nice work and I am very happy with the work and service nice job. Jim Bowden”

“Over the years I have taken my 4 cars to V&T 5 times. Both of my bothers have taken their cars there and I have sent a dozen friends to this auto body shop. One of those friends was in law enforcement and another has taken multiple cars there. I even referred the plumber working on my house to this shop. He saved a bunch of money and gave me a discount on my bathroom remodeling. Every one was very happy with the body work done. This is a small shop tucked in the industrial area west of Redwood Road. It does not have a fancy reception room or a nice big store front. Unless you are looking for it you wouldn't know the shop is there. They mostly work on dealership vehicles. Years ago I went to 3 other supposedly reputable body shops before I was referred to this shop by a used car sale friend. The most expensive body shop in Sandy has a Salt Lake Temple picture on the wall and was twice as much as V&T. The other estimates were significantly higher and vary greatly. The V&T owner is honest and a hard worker from Vietnam. If you like to shop at Nordstrom or Harmons, this body shop is not for you. But if you value your money and don't want to be taken advantage of, you might want to get an estimate from this shop and compare.”
