“Furniture is broken and falling apart Furniture in walls have scratches chipped paint you can tell the room is Worn staff makes you feel like they don't want you here on the plus side great room size got a mini fridge great heater and AC gray bed no breakfast on the weekends but to be honest the room was great size just service and amenities for the price would stay here again because my dog loves it just little things nitpick have a good day”
“Stayed here for one night with the wife. Booked it on our drive home. We knew we weren't getting in town until close to 9pm and wanted the convenience of an on site restaurant to get something to eat. Got in around 8:50 and checked in. Came back down around 9:05 to go to their restaurant that states on the website it doesn't close until 10pm and we were told it closed at 9. Disappointed in that as it was a factor in our decision for the hotel. Ended up paying nearly $50 to get one meal delivered to the hotel to split. In the room, everything looked great, but I went to go wipe my hands on the hanging towel after washing them and the cloth had tiny hairs all over it like someone shaved and dried their face, but didn't remove the towel. My guess is housekeeping figured it wasn't used, so didn't change it. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. AC worked great. Around midnight we were woken up to screaming teenagers one room over and loud banging. My wife called the front desk and she was informed that a family did just arrive and they should be settling down soon, but they would walk by in a bit to make sure they do. The gentleman was really friendly with her and they did settle down. Breakfast was decent, we appreciated the organic tea options the most. Our suggestions to hotel management and staff, please update the site information for the on site restaurant. Ensure towels are always changed even if appeared to be unused and if checking in a family next to other hotel guests at midnight is unavoidable, tell the incoming guests when quiet time started. If possible, I wouldn't place incoming guests at that time directly next to guests that checked in already and are only there for one night. We understand the hotel may have been booked up and this was unavoidable. All in all, we would stay again when in town and felt it was a fair price for the amenities in the hotel.”

“Really great place to stay for families. We were able to comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 kids in a room since it is spacious and has a pullout couch. The room was clean and the included breakfast was very good. Loved the omelette bar and other available options. The only negative I can say is that the pool wasn't super clean-- it was pretty cloudy but the hotel was fully booked when we stayed and there was a lot of sports kids staying at the hotel and in the pool.
Very close to a ton of stuff-- America First Field, Loveland Aquarium, malls and dining! There's a target within 5 minutes.”
“This hotel was a great stay! Rooms were super spacious, Ollie my pup was happy with the space. Kitchen had everything we needed and showers were clean. The staff was amazing! They were helpful and answered all my questions.”

“Great stay and service. What stood out the most is the made to order breakfast! The server, Rosario and her sisters seem to be running it and are doing an incredible job! Rare to find such an option in most American hotels. Loved it.”

“I stay here a couple of times a month, due to its easy location for both Salt Lake City downtown as well as the rest of the Wasatch front. Clean, nicely appointed, I always pick a room with a view of topgolf for my own entertainment purposes, and plenty of parking.”
“Location is outstanding, there's unlimited amount of shopping and food choices. About 10 minutes away from I-215 in about 35 minutes away from Brighton Ski Resort. The rooms were clean and the free breakfast was nice. It has a gym with free weights, yoga mats, treadmills, swimming pool, hot tub, and Lounge area in the front lobby. I never did get extra towels or toilet paper my entire stay, which is why I'm giving service four stars. I did ask the front desk for some extra supplies and they happily offered. The rooms are clean and quiet, beds and linens are comfortable.”
“I like this hotel. I've stayed here on three different occasions. The front desk host was helpful the first two times and was on top of the service. The third time was rather lackluster. It felt as if we were inconveniencing her that we are checking in.
The room didn't have a remote control. The same front desk host said she may have an extra, but we would have to go downstairs to grab it from her. The light in the closet vanity also wasn't working, which did impact the quality of our stay because I use that mirror as opposed to the higher bathroom mirror.
Breakfast is decent. Just a typical continental breakfast, including fruit, yogurts, oatmeal, eggs, bagels, and other items.
Aside from the service that one time and the room missing some functionalities, I will still be booking my rooms with them.”
“Here specifically for a concert at (USANA) or Utah first Credit Union Amphitheater and the location determined our hotel choice. About 10 minute drive directly down the road from our hotel. The room is really nice. Clean. Comfortable. Close to restaurants, Maverik gas station. Target. Winco grocery store. This a lot of choice all with in walking distance. Free parking too, as it should be. Price was higher but . . . The beds seem comfortable, the a/c is cold and quiet. Pool looks inviting and the location is quiet. Again, a tad spendy compared to options close by but it is what it is. I am happy.”
“Rooms were clean and well sized. The complimentary breakfast was very good.
Best thing about this for our family, though, was the location. Across the road from a large park. A quick walk to a variety of stores and restaurants. Everything felt very safe. Would definitely stay at this location again.”

“When I went to check in, there seemed to be confusion with the party in front of me. So after waiting my turn in line, I get assisted. At first, the reservation wasn't being found. Then it was after some time due to another front desk worker who checked someone else into the room I reserved. Not a big deal, but the wait to check in and get everything figured out was frustrating. When I'm given the print out to sign, it said king, but the reservation was for two queens. So now it's been around 30 minutes to check in due to the hotel's error. Then getting the room mixed up. When entering the room, everything seemed to be fine. When leaving the next day, we were gathering our belongings and checking that we got everything...there was a water bottle behind the recliner which had me questioning how throughly the room was cleaned prior to me entering. There was a comment card on the table so I went ahead and filled it out. Not expecting anything to come out of it. However, about an hour after I checked out, Jessica with the hotel called and apologized and sent an email that more than took care of the issue. Human error happens and I appreciate their willingness to accept accountability and went above and beyond you make things right. That alone, I will remember and will definitely stay again in the future when passing through West Valley. Some other things that were great...comfortable beds and the water pressure was amazing for a hotel.”

“We were on a road trip from WA to TX and South Jordan, UT was our first overnight rest stop. We checked in late around 8 or 9pm. We were supposed to leave UT at 03:00am but decided to stay a little longer to eat a good breakfast. I must of read the amenities wrong and thought a free breakfast was included. Unfortunately, it wasn't but your front desk agent Carlos was very understanding and knew we were going back on the road heading to TX. He was so kind and gave us complimentary breakfast. We are so grateful for his kindness and understanding that was the best breakfast we had on this road trip.”

“This is a good residence Inn, it appears to have been recently updated. Not everything was updated but I did have an oven in my room which was cool. They also have rooms with bathtubs. The pool area seems nice but was busy a lot so I stayed away. Laundry room on site as well as a very small gym. Close to downtown, hospital, skiing, restaurants, grocery, mall. Definitely would be a great place to stay with family as the rooms are fairly large. I traveled solo and my room was large but comfortable.”

“The rooms are 4 star, they need a little maintenance attention, but clean. The staff is great and friendly! The breakfast in my opinion is great! Pool and hot tub are just nice enough to take a plunge. Restaurants and a mall are all within walking distance and right off the interstate.”

“The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, which are the two most important things to me. Checkout is at noon, which is so nice! (Most places I’ve stayed are 11:00 am). The only downside is that there wasn’t anyone ever at the front desk the few times I walked by. I called the front desk since I couldn’t find anyone in person, and someone did answer

“Hampton Inn is the only place we will stay. It's clean, nice pool area, fresh bedding and bathroom. If only my neighbors would have been quiet after 12am, the kids were screaming, running, just awful trying to sleep. No manners at all.”

Pool area was clean, laundry and gym also clean and well kept. Breakfast was great, with waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt and more available from 6-10am! Perfect for early risers! “My family and myself have lived here for about 2 years. Lauri was here at that time, and she was amazing. Nina is here now and she's wonderful just like the last manager was.
I'm writing a second review because I witnessed Nina getting yelled at by a guy today that was upset about needing a note from his Doctor for his service animal.
He asked me if my dog was one, and he is, I too had to bring in a Doctors note.
Nina treats everyone with respect (she did to this guy even though he was yelling at her) she also follows the rules and holds everyone to those rules. Nobody gets special treatment and nobody is entitled to it either.
So just a heads up, Nina is awesome, she'll take care of you, and welcome you into the hotel. But she will also follow protocol and the rules (as a manager should) which makes me feel secure living here.”
“Best rates in town. Very respectful owner, who has gone out of his way to accommodate me. It's clean and the laundry is free, imagine that. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get a rested night's sleep, it's quite and peaceful. There's only one problem, there's never any vacancy's. Well, every once in a while.”

“Let me start with the bad. Parking can get really limited with the additional businesses that are attached to the location. Also street noise can make sleeping or wanting some peace difficult.
The good, amazing rooms. Lots of space. Comfortable beds. Great location in the valley. The location provides quick access to all the canyons, highways, and sites you may want to enjoy. Close to parks and shopping. Breakfast seems a little sparce compared to hamptoms and homewood suites. But still enjoyable.”

“We checked in pretty late last night, was helped by Tammy and she was amazing. She handled guests in the lobby, on the phone as well as amentity services and cleaning all by herself. She was also very friendly and helpful, and just overall refreshing after a 12 hour drive. Tammy 100% deserves a raise (: Thank you again!”
“Pretty good quality to price ratio. The room was clean, AC worked fine, pool and hot tub was fun, breakfast was standard. Bad things: mattresses were awful quality and you could feel it. Some hairs left on the comforter, but not the sheets.”
“Fantastic rates. Dog friendly. Comfortable beds.
Waffles at Continental breakfast.
My personal favorite: FANTASTIC COFFEE/ESPRESSO MACHINE AVAILABLE IN LOBBY 24/7 ?
We'll be back ?”
“The gentleman that helped us was very polite and we asked for a later check in and they had no problem and giving it to us they were actually really kind about it and I mean you don't get that kind of service anywhere anymore no matter how much you pay for it.”
“Very nice, clean, homey feeling rooms, but if you're a light sleeper, or looking for quiet, this isn't the place for you. Obviously the hotel can't control people yelling and slamming doors all hours of the night, but on the first floor you can hear the phones ringing relentlessly, and what I'm guessing is the housekeeping washer and dryer thudding starting at 2am.
The breakfast is severely limited.
All the staff I met were very nice and very helpful.
It is a pet friendly hotel, they have a small dog walk area with doggy bags.”
